I could then clearly hear that my students were mumbling at me. I could also clearly hear quiet conversations in offices several doors down...all at once...
I stopped using the hearing aids...
Pauls hearing loss is in the higher frequencies, the frequencies that women speak. He had a good excuse for not listening to me until he got his hearing aids. Over the years his hearing has deteriorated more so time for adjustment.

Australia is proposing a ban on social media for under 16 year olds and putting the responsibility of policing it on the tech companies with a $50 million fine for any company that doesn't take reasonable steps to verify the age of users. According to the news the UK and Denmark are considering similar laws.
