The Left And Obama Is/Was Always About Giving Jobs To Foreigners And Illegals And Not US Citizens

These kind of stories have become the norm. The rich leftists, keep hiring foreigners and illegals because they work for far cheaper than US workers. These workers take money from here and go back to their own countries. It's no wonder the US isn't #1 anymore. We can never elect a Democrat to office again.

The GOP is now basing its legislation on a steady 3% GDP growth rate. This would require that in the next decade we double the number of immigrants we've welcomed in the last 80 years.

Or bring back the business that had to go off shore because of restrictive taxation and unnecessary regulations. We are already seeing this happening, thank you very much.

Businesses want cheap labor. Both Democrats and Republicans are beholden to big business. If you want jobs to go to Americans, then you're gonna need to hold big business's feet to the fire. They are gonna have to be willing to pay their workforce more.

I am curious about this, even with those taxes and regulations gone, won't it still be cheaper to keep production companies off shore?

We need to take care of ourselves first now because of all the damage that has been inflicted by Obama and the Democrats. It will take some time such as Trump for eight years as a start.

No. It can be made enticing. The American worker is still considered the best worker, plus products with the Made in America stamp resonates with many consumers.

Today, the solution is to bury globalization and stop illegal immigration and make American great again, i.e. give jobs to legal Americans.

There are good and bad things about both parties. I hate to see America splitting down party lines.

It started with Obama and the MSM. I've never seen America this split (short of the Civil War). I don't think the chasm will be brought together anytime soon unless a common enemy attacks us.

If I am a businessman and I know my production cost would jump 10-20% (just a random guess) + moving costs to come back to US, I would stay put. Maybe the capitalist powers at be will surprise me, but I am not holding my breath. Even if they did move, they would try to shift this new found loss to the consumer, making prices higher. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see production move back, but I just don't see it happening on a large scale.

You are whining about a chasm while creating a politically polarizing discussion. Do you see the problem here?

Um, no again. The largest number go for work on farms and in factories that are overwhelmingly run by those who tend to vote Republican because they love their federal subsidies that have long been a Republican way to get them aboard so as to vote for them. Labor unions have tended to be the Democratic bailiwick.

Well, either that, or we're going to have to make it so that Americans can compete with foreign workers and be able to take lower wages. In order to facilitate that, there would need to be price controls so that their dollar would buy more. The wages and prices are just numbers, so it's only a matter of number crunching to ensure that American workers can still have the same standard of living but on less money. They can still pay their bills and monthly expenses, even if they're only making $5 per day - but that would mean that food, gas, clothing, utilities, housing, health insurance, and other necessities of life would also have to come down in price.
