WLKI NEWS Thursday, January 31, 2008
(UNDATED) - If you have chores to do for the weekend, you might want to get them done today. If a National Weather Service forecast is accurate, travel maybe difficult tomorrow. Forecasters have issued a Winter Storm Warning for the WLKI listening area and the surrounding region from 10:00 tonight until 7:00 tomorrow night. Snowfall totaling five to nine inches is expected during the overnight hours. Storm totals of nine to 15 inches are possible. Blowing snow is also expected to make driving very hazardous or impossible. If the forecast holds true, this will be our third major storm of this winter. By the way, only 50 more days until Spring

Oh, NO!! I hate waliking to class in the horrible snow... I hate snow so much.
I doubt we get that much snow. I don't know where you live, but where I'm at, the snow better hurry up if there is going to be up to 15 inches.
Allthough because of the pending snow, Dollar General let all the DC employees leave work four hours early so no one would get stuck driving in the snow, which I did not mind at all.

I have to walk a very long way though... It's going to suck even without snow, because it is so clod, and always windy.

I have lived in Lagrange and Steuben counties for the last 7 years and we have yet to get all the snow that has been predicted.

I hate underclass parking lots... Why make them so far away?? The uperclass parking lots are always half empty, but I'll get a ticket for parking there.

I live right at the Howard and Miami county lines, just abit east of the Cass County line, and we usually do not get alot of snow here. We do get some monstrous drifts though. The last time it snowed hard, there was one road that had drifts so high, that when my car finally came to a stop, the front wheels were off the ground. And then last year my car was buried under a drift.

I hear you.
We get monster drifts right up against our garage door.
Which isn't a problem unless we parked the car in the garage.

Only made that mistake once though.

It took five hours and three people working to get the drift removed enough to free our car.
