The people who never had children say "My kids will never act like that", and the ones who have had children say "yeah, right, I said the same thing before I had children, too and was proved wrong":D

I know what you mean. I said, "My husband will never act like that." He's still a kid at heart. I ask him to stop playing video games and he tells me, "Oh come on! Just another 10 minutes." Tell him to go to bed and I get, "After the show is over."
*sigh* Kids.

I have to work today...and I don't get any OT......:computer:

That's what I get for working at a company that is notoriosly cheap.

The job I had before this was cheap also. They didn't pay for over time. They always had you use it as comp time. If you were chosen to go on a 5 day 24 hour company trip with the clients, you only got paid for 8. So you got paid for 8, you got to share the same house with the clients, you got to cook, clean, and take care of the clients. You had to tend to the clients for 5 days 24 hours. All of this and get paid for only 8 hours a day. Yup...I don't miss the job, but I miss the clients.

My welsh brother! we are next door! (in nations that is)

Welcome on the thread, if you ask me, this thread is like another forum.

I would like to see this made into a sticky.

I have English, German, Irish, Scottish, Norvegian, and who-knows –what-else blood, but my name is Welsh, so that’s the culture I choose identify with.

I am pure indian in descent, but my mum and dad were a generation of African Indians, most of whom reside in the UK. And in some respects, made the coutnry better. Indians+money-rich rich rich rich.

I am 1/4 Italian (my maternal grandfather was born in Italy and came to the US in 1917 at age 3 or so), I am 1/4 German and Russian Jew (My great grandparents on my mother's side), and I am 1/2 Navajo (for non-US citizens that is a Native American nation in the 4 corners area of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona).

I am also 100% American :)
