What effect, if any, do you see it having?

.

The Republicans better take notice because the future of their party is now on the line. If they lose the younguns, they'll be in deep pooh-pooh politically in several more years.

It kind of reminds me of the movements and protest against the man in the 70s.

Look where we are now.

I suspect sometime in the future this will be here yet again.

And again

And again......

I am daring to be hopeful that change will actually happen as this is the first time they're actually mobilizing and marching on the issue. They didn't do that with the other shootings. The younger generation is inspiring.

Each wave of protests moves the bar a little. There are waves of change washing over us. Some embrace them and some resist with all their might. I live on the left side of the aisle but much of the right's upset with things as they are stems from the same deep rooted desire that things are out of whack and need to be fixed. The policies are something else again, but the deep desire is from the same "well".

The message to those in power (both financial and political power) is that it's time to take real concerns seriously and not dismiss them. They're saying "listen to us". We'll see who listens.

Wait until they get in office. Don't trust anyone under 30.

Sadly I see nothing coming out of this. Just more ostriches sticking their heads in the sand.

Excellent places to pick up hippie chicks and get high back in the day...ermm...at least that's what a friend told me.

Instead of being vague, you could speak clearly what you're trying to say.
Well that's part of the problem, isn't it? Disconnect.

I'm afraid I may have to deny you instant gratification of getting an answer right away. Study up on your history.

It was my first march. The gathering was fun, the march slow, and the after gathering lively. All of it was peaceful.

Whatever. I'll leave you to be afraid of whatever imaginary monsters that are in your head since you don't want to tell us what the hell you're referring to. So, disregarded.
