Okay, putting the resurrection aside, where do our souls go when we die?The resurrection isn’t the second coming
Jesus says "This is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day" (John 6:39).Okay, putting the resurrection aside, where do our souls go when we die?
I guess this means there's no explicit reference in the Bible to a spiritual place called Heaven or something where the dead wait. Okay.Jesus says "This is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day" (John 6:39).
All will be resurrected on the last day. Right now the dead are “asleep”.
Heaven= universeI guess this means there's no explicit reference in the Bible to a spiritual place called Heaven or something where the dead wait. Okay.

The book of Ezekiel describes a city that is located in the middle east, but the geography is different. The Bible tells us that a new heaven and earth will come. That means we will live on a new earth and in a new heaven.
All of Christian beliefs are based on interpretation and I happen to agree with this one as many many othersI don't consider the Bible a reliable source for learning about the afterlife or being authoritative on anything else, especially spiritual or supernatural.
This is one of the common beliefs that Christians hold regarding what happens to the dead, based on their own interpretation of the Bible.
What if you don't like what Jesus will do when He comes? We will have everlasting life when Jesus returns with a new earth and heaven.
I would hope that I would be grateful for the life that God has given me and live with joy and humility. What if you don't like what Jesus will do when He comes?
Example..
It is the nature of Jesus to sacrifice himself for humanity. What if he decides to bury the thought of his existence, so that those who remain will live in peace and harmony...in that new heaven and earth.
Will you also lie down with your god in the hole, for the sake of others?
Then give what is God's to God.I would hope that I would be grateful for the life that God has given me and live with joy and humility.
“I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).Then give what is God's to God.
If Jesus died for everyone, you as his believer, and he as your god, why don't you die for just one person, why are you waiting for someone else to bring you a new heaven and a new earth?
Why should or would a believer die for someone when Jesus died once and for all? Then give what is God's to God.

I know that because I know you, even though I never met you.I see where you could think that but I’m really being sincere.
“I am the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).
In the Baha'i Faith heaven is a state of a soul who is near to God in mind and heart.Where is that said in the Bible? Could heaven be just higher state of existence (similar to body, mind and thoughts)?
I believe that our souls leave this earth and go to a spiritual world.Okay, putting the resurrection aside, where do our souls go when we die?
I would not worry too much about that since Jesus is not coming back to this world. What if you don't like what Jesus will do when He comes?
Indeed, there would be no need, since Jesus finished that work once and for all.Why should or would a believer die for someone when Jesus died once and for all?
Thank youI know that because I know you, even though I never met you.
Not sure how this is related.James 2
18 But someone will say, “One person has faith, another has actions.” My answer is, “Show me how anyone can have faith without actions. I will show you my faith by my actions.”
19 Do you believe that there is only one God? Good! The demons also believe—and tremble with fear.
20 You fool! Do you want to be shown that faith without actions is useless?
