So I assume you all have at least one actor or even presenter with a voice that is just absolutely awesome. An actor that could read the phone book to you, and you’d be satisfied

Well here’s a chance to give them their dues.
Name your favourites here
Mine are in no particular order
Keith David
Omg what a sultry awesome voice
Troy Baker. A solid voice actor
David Attenborough. Can’t get through a documentary without at least imagining his narration. So iconic
Kevin Conroy. Will forever be Batman to me.
Mark Hamill. Just always gives a deviously delicious villainous performance
Christopher Lee. Such a cool ****** voice
James Earl JoneS. Pretty much the same lol
Ian McKellan and Christopher Lee. Basically the same reason
Morgan Freeman. Voice of God. Need I say more?
What are your faves?

What comes to mind are:
Michael Rooker.
John Dimaggio as Marcus Fenix or Smiling Jack.
Kujira as Orochimaru.
Does Michael Winslow count? He surely is memorable for the stuff he can do with his voice..

There is in fact one person whom I have actually told I that would be happy to hear read the phone book, but she is not an actress as such. I've mentioned her here before - Charlotte. She makes videos that help people relax and sleep, and has a lovely Durham accent (a bit like Geordie but gentler and more rural). She's had letters from soldiers with PTSD, from tough tours in Afghanistan, saying how much she has helped them. Here she is talking about ways to get to sleep in hot weather:

For staying awake on a long drive, I recommend, Gilbert Gottfried, Maggie Wheeler (In her Janice on Friends form) and Donald Trump. Well, on second thought, maybe not the latter. Listening to Trump might me angry enough to drive my car right off the road.

I don't really have any speaker's voices that I notice. However, when I was little(age 7-8 range), I used to set my alarm so I could wake up and listen to Paul Harvey. I have no idea why I did this, but I did it daily.

I was a weird kid. If I was well behaved, my mother would let me stay up to watch Dateline.

My husband was trying to be angry at me for being cheap awhile back, so I thought it was appropriate to do a Mr. Krabs imitation. I must have done well, because he doubled over in laughter, which stopped the anger.

There she blows, matey!

He is a very versatile actor, India's top, and he has what generally Indians consider as an Iconic voice - Amitabh Bacchan. Amitabh has been the host for one of the most Popular TV prgram "Kaun Banega Karorpati?" (Who will become a millionaire?) with 1,010 episodes since the year 2,000 except for one season.

"Ye jeena bhi koi Jeena hai" (Is living like this any living?): at 4.30 m towards the end of the song sung by him. It is a children's song..
Song: "Mere pas aao, mere doston, ek gana suno" (Come near me, my friends, listen to a song), Film: Natwar Lal
(Natwar Lal has been the most famous fraudster in India (Natwarlal - Wikipedia), Amitabh too had a role as a cheat in the film)

"Natwarlal (born Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava; 1912 — 25 July 2009) was an Indian fraudster known for his high-profile crimes and prison escapes, including having supposedly repeatedly "sold" the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Parliament House of India."
"The last time Natwarlal was arrested was in 1996 at the age of 84. Despite his old age and his use of a wheelchair, he managed to escape again."
"In 2009, Natwarlal's lawyer requested that more than 100 charges pending against him be dropped, claiming that he died on 25 July 2009. However, Natwarlal's brother subsequently claimed to have cremated him in 1996, the year he last escaped .."
Natwarlal never used any violent means.

One of my favorite voice actors is H Jon Benjamin.
I first heard him as The Master....
Most know him as Archer...
(Patrick Warburton is in this too.)

Seth Andrews from The Thinking Atheist. He started as a Christian radio host and when you hear his voice, you know why he got the job:
