Here in Ameristan, censorship is done more by
owners of venues in order to push their own
agenda, or to keep advertisers.
I prefer our system....less government power.

I agree 100% with this^ statement.
I am not saying our system is better, Just different., :)

We can go on and on, the substance doesn't change.
Pre-ElonMusk Twitter was a nightmare. It was the dictatorship of pensée unique.

If a Twitter user had tweeted something like I will date White Anglo-Saxon Protestants only ...she would have immediately been censored, gagged...eliminated. Everything.
Because it's a racist statement...blah,.,..blah...blah...

Yes... that is what we call a "difference in perspective" though the results are the same.

The results are developments like this:

All Twitter Offices Closed as Hundreds of Employees Resign

The number of engineers required to operate Twitter’s critical systems are down to two or even zero, the Washington Post reported. “I know of six critical systems (like ‘serving tweets’ levels of critical) which no longer have any engineers,” a former employee told the Post. “There is no longer even a skeleton crew manning the system. It will continue to coast until it runs into something, and then it will stop.”

Twitter offices were closed the moment he bought it. Of course people quit. I can understand that.

Apparently, since twitter is still up and running, more information is necessary?

Even John Galt was more subtle.

Selflessly here for you
Instinctively, I don’t much like the man and going by his own posts on twitter, he’s not too great with words.

Things would maybe go better if he just stayed, silently, “behind the scenes”.

What is your source that the offices were closed at that time

The article I quoted said: "It will continue to coast until it runs into something, and then it will stop.” but you appear to have missed that.

As someone who worked in IT for decades and volunteers in IT currently, that makes perfect sense. I used to get paged in the middle of the night when something suddenly stopped working for any number of reasons including hardware failure and software bugs. These debugging sessions involved people from many different technical disciplines and areas of expertise due to the complexity of the software involved.

In one place I worked some old old code at the heart of their billing system had a problem and they thought the billing system was forever dead because the people who wrote that code were long gone. Someone managed to rescue it but it was a close call.

It's an old old joke but still at least somewhat true: "If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization."

This author is uninformed because I live in a EU country and I can say whatever I like on the internet.
And the Italian law has a very peculiar notion of what a racist comment is.
If a woman says "I will date whites only" on live TV, that's not racism, here.
Let's just say that the Italian Democratic Party (which is just the European branch of Hillary's party, we all know that), wanted to pass a law that would have limited freedom of thought, especially when it deals with LGBTs and ethnic minorities. It wasn't passed.

Censorship in Italy - Wikipedia

The anecdote about Brokeback Mountain should make you understand that we, unlike the US, value the heterosexual man. ;)
I think in no other country of Europe there is this admiration and worshipping towards Trump. A successful heterosexual man who married three beautiful women.

I am not kidding. He would be crowned king, here.
