The New System

So your school was bad and you had teachers with silly ideas they promoted. Probably in the US? That's fine, but you said science is always wrong.

Science is always wrong. There's no need to self correct what is right. Fact.

This from someone on an internet forum, using some sort of computing device. Which would not have been possible without the advances of science.

Haven't you been following the thread? It's the magical fairies! They can cause words to appear without a computing device (although they do really seem to like the nectar I serve them through that pop-out plate holder on my computer.)

I can't wait to see the technological advances in the new system! Imagine, instead of having to imagine what the future will bring all you will have to do is wait for it. Imagine how much more we could do learning, not from imperfect men, but the Creator of the universe, Jehovah God! We won't have to guess how old the universe is or where life came from, we will know. From someone who was there and made it all happen. Instead of working on something for 40 years or so you could work on it for 1,000 or more. Not to mention our intelligence will be remarkably superior to what it is now. In the new system.

Nudge, nudge.

If it is better than Win 10 I'm sold.

40 or 1000, it would be no different. Time and what is important are not connected in any meaningful way. Yes, men are imperfect. But why would you think anything that is NOT human would not be subject to the very same problems of accuracy and completeness we experience now in every facet of culture. I would argue there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with humanity just the way it is right now. People who wish to change humanity for the "better" just have repressed hatred for their own imperfections. I'm not saying aspiring to be better is not a worthy goal. What I am saying is without true hard determinism in the way nature behaves, any complex system capable of having language will be subject to the same limitations and imperfections we struggle with now. You can't escape the fundamental truth about reality in that reality is always bubbling with imperfections.

Previous OS' provide far more control and less bloat than the current one. 10 also uses a lot of data-mining out of the box which I am no fan of.

Oh. Well, I don 't pay any attention to that. I guess I'm more a casual user.

If science is always wrong, how do computers, blood tests etc work? I would be worried if I couldn't believe my blood sugar levels, I might have diabetes or maybe that doesn't exist either because science is wrong... there is no diabetes. Are the stars in the sky actually holes and is our globe actually just a plane? If DNA doesn't exist, what causes us to think it does? What do you think?

Wonderful, and I suppose you believe that your Christianity has stayed the same.

Have you not read many of my posts on how Christianity is apostate? I'm a great deal more honest about the shortcomings of my belief system that the typical dishonest atheist propagandist.

Science is always wrong. There's no need to self correct what is right. Fact.

Except when there is need of correction.

You list in your by-line "bible believer".

Was the bible WRONG when it listed the rule by which we may sell our daughters into the sex-trade (slavery) to pay off a debt?

Was the bible WRONG when it describes the "proper" way to beat your slave? So long as your slave doesn't die right away, the bible's fine with that.

Was the bible WRONG when the NT commands slaves to be good little obedient property, as god put them AS SLAVES in the first place, and they should just TAKE it?

Was the bible WRONG when it commanded parents to kill their smart-mouthed children?

Was the bible WRONG when it condemned cheese burgers?

Was the bible WRONG when it told you to NEVER wear cotton-polyester blends?

How about it? Do you STILL BELIEVE the bible, even though we now see it was WRONG on so many levels?

Yes, yours is different. I've had a protestant upbringing with a decade of mandatory teaching on that, I too think most of it isn't in line with the Bible or with traditional Christianity or that which existed before the Christianity Bible was put together.

I'm a great deal more honest about the shortcomings of my belief system that the typical dishonest atheist propagandist.
I'm not sure how your strong dislike of any atheists relates to my posts. I've had my arguments with atheists, though they are of course different from yours.

Though I'm sure you think yourself honest, don't most people? I just see some of your views that I think are unreasonable are just because you haven't thought them through.

You honestly believe science is always wrong, I'll accept that it's not mere rhetoric with attempt to shock. When I've worked with sciences, I've analyzed a quite few samples and now you say it has always been wrong. What do you propose happens when we find out iron content from a sample if science is always wrong? And why does it seem that the more iron we add in, the more we measure! Actually it's quite exactly the same ratio as it should be. Yet it's "wrong". Who is manipulating things so that it seems we are doing the right thing...?

Yes, it will be something!

There will no more be boundaries: national, racial, or otherwise. One world government-- 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 -- providing security and meeting everyone's needs. Food -- Psalms 72:16 -- and health -- Isaiah 33:24 -- will be abundant. And no death! Revelation 21:3-4.

With no barriers between people, and no one dying....think how that alone will increase our ability to enhance technology! Remember that Star Trek movie, Insurrection?

Plus, Isaiah 54:13 tells us, we'll be "taught by Jehovah"! All inventions will then be safe, w/ no harmful side effects.

“instead of having to imagine what the future will bring all you will have to do is wait for it.”
You always have to wait for the future.
