I'll be ducking at midnight...my neighbors like to shoot up into the air too with whatever gun they own...it's like being on a firing range. What goes up MUST come down...perhaps I should go to the basement till it's all over!:)
You mean there are actually people who grab their guns and just shoot up into the air for no reason like Yosemite Sam? I thought that was just cartoons :biglaugh:

You know dear Soul, I've come to realize that even the most innocent things I say aren't that innocent when you read them, lol.

LOL! I just think that's the hilarious. I can't believe there are actually people who shoot their guns into the air for the fun of it. It makes me giggle. And it makes me think of Yosemite Sam and that guy from The Simpsons, but I can't remember his name.

Yeah it happens alot in the States. Especially out in the sticks where crazy people live:jiggy: I like to go shooting myself but i don't live in a place where i can just walk outside and fire off guns randomly.

Mrscarrdero and I are going to have our 5th Annual Cult Film Festival New Years Day. It is the first one we are having at our new house and she is very excited about playing hostess (she loves to entertain). It basically consists of a few friends, a lot of food and many laughs. The movies this year include:
Shaun Of The Dead

Attack Of The Giant Gila Monster (the MST3000 version)

Crimes Of Passion

I just bought Shaun Of The Dead, haven't watched it yet. I've seen Attack of the Giant Gila, but I haven't seen Crimes of Passion, is it good?

I'm big into cult movies, especially horror movies. Have you ever seen Spider Baby? Great movie! One of my favorites, but it's not very well known. I wish I had friends who had Cult Film Festivals, I'd rather do that than go out and have to deal with people I don't like :D

I'm waiting to watch it at work this weekend. I heard it was hilarious though, so I'm excited to see it. Even George Romero raved about it. Any movie that the zombie master deems worthy is a movie I've got to see.

It’s a Ken Russell film (so you know it has to be bizarre) starring Anthony Perkins and Kathleen Turner (WOW!!) I highly recommend it.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I think you should start one in Montreal. You could host a great cult film festival!!

And if I may I would like to suggest your first 3 films.

Valley Girl (a very young Nicholas Cage, a scrumptious Elizabeth Daily (she does the voice of Buttercup on The Powerpuff Girls and the Plimsouls appear courteous of Geffen Records.

Sid And Nancy (good cast, good performances)

Urgh!! A Music War
