Thank you dgirl11986 and mycorrhiza for the welcome.

Apotheotic Solipsist is a term I created to define my belief system that goes along the lines of self is all that one knows for a fact exists, which is the philosophical meaning behind Solipsism. And Apotheosis is understood as self-deification.
So basically it is to say if life is a self-delusion then I am the creator of my own destiny by the choices I make and the consequences or results that befall.

I hope that helps clear it up a bit. I don't believe in any traditional religion. I do respect atheism and agnosticism. Deism is pretty interesting. However, following one ideology or holding to disbelief in a world populated in large part by believers, when things that are unexplained by traditional terms occur in my life isn't in keeping with atheism so I created my own definition to term what I think this life is about.

The forum questionnaire asked so I got creative. :flirt:

Again, thank you both for the welcome.

Welcome! A solipsist!
Are you in my mind or am I in yours? :)
Good question. Perhaps we're all a product of multiple personalities in disorder. ;)
With over 7 billion people inhabiting this planet and the handful in comparison that we'll meet in our lifetime. When people say what we find to criticize about others is something we recognize about our own personality and so we judge what we know, perhaps those few we're going to meet in a lifetime are simply reflections of us.

That could explain attraction as far as sensual relationship goes. That feeling that we can relate to them on all levels.

Your avatar and religion reminds me of this (one of my favourites)...
Hey, thanks for the video link. I loved Douglas Adams writing. Especially, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Though the movie really didn't do the book justice.

"We have normality. I repeat, we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem." Douglas Adams

As Revoltingest helpfully pointed out in another thread, try going to:

Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature

If that option is not yet available, then just keep posting for a while more and check again. It will eventually appear.

1/2 week membership and 20 frubals. I think you also need about 20 posts

edit: that 1 or 2 weeks (can't remember which) rather than half a week
