Were you under the impression that all lawn furniture was made from wood? ...and, you wonder why I believe that applying logic is utterly futile on this thread.

I didn't know that one must tag a person, in order to make reference to them.
I do now, thank you!
Will you be applying logic anytime soon? I'll get popcorn.

Go walk by yourself into gang banger territory, or don't pay your mortgage for half a year, or try drinking a gallon of anti-freeze, and then come and tell us all how this is all just a dream.

Like seriously, are we actually having this conversation (no pun intended)???

My own religion
What is wrong with you people - there's nothing analogous about humans having dreams, as opposed to their entire life being a dream - who the heck is doing the dreaming in reality, in the latter case?

Men's dreams never make sense: their convoluted, incongruent, implausible (situations that will never occur), erroneous (can't run or scream), and ultimately just disturbing. Real life is not like that at all, at least not worth mentioning, and definitely not perpetually as you people are claiming.

Anyhow, I'm leaving this thread from where it started. Decide for yourselves who's off their rocker....

'I believe there’s one man in the world that when he dies all of existence ends with him and then he’s reborn. My guess is he’s reborn around 1980.'

Well, the problem is not new. Rene Descartes made the first version in Western culture, then there is "A brain in a vat", a Boltzmann Brain and the simulation reality.

Again, you appear to be so afraid of letting go of your tightly held beliefs that you refuse to answer questions and resort to calling others defective and spouting the same rhetoric.

When you can move past the arrogant notion that you are somehow special or better than anyone else here and are ready to have a civil and respectful discussion, I'll be here. Until then, I agree that it's best you just leave the thread.

I believe there’s one man in the world that when he dies all of existence ends with him and then he’s reborn. My guess is he’s reborn around 1980. And on and on it goes. A never ending cycle. So we all get to live forever. Pretty sweet if you ask me. I can’t bulls**** what I believe.

Heaven awaits! Heaven is here!
I am confused. This man is a physical human being? How is he reborn without a mother/father?

Also, why would the rest of the Universe of a 100 billion galaxies cease to exist because someone on Earth died?

Physical yes. Born of God, as many are the day he is. They would cease because he is God manifest.

If this guy is on Earth and whole Universe depends on him, why did God bother to create billions of galaxies and trillions of stars and mega trillions of planets - seems like a big waste. God could have just created our Solar system, the Earth and this one guy at the center of it all - the rest of the zillions of cosmic stuff was not needed at all.

If you build a trillion houses and only one of them is occupied and the rest are permanently empty, then that is a waste.
