There's closer to what I make in a month! No working class person is making that much money. 80k is the salary of a professional type, an office worker.
Or a skilled electrician or carpenter.

The average electrician on my jobsite works 10 hour days and makes about $140k a year. Education matters.
Too many people don't pursue education or other self
improvement tasks that would enable earning much
more money. They blame others for the rut the endure.
They're vulnerable to politicians who pander with pretty
promises they can't & won't keep.

According to court documents, The Onion, via its parent company Global Tetrahedron, offered $1.75 million in cash along with a “credit” from the Connecticut families, who offered to forgo 100% of their portion of the winning bid to support the effort.
