It kind of reminds me of how anti-semites who hate jews, call jews zionists.

It seems very similar to calling jews the Pharises.

Basically he was trashing jews. I think there is such hatred in the christian bible towards jews, because the jews weren't buying what jesus and his followers were selling.

 Jesus is a Jew and so were His first followers. How are you missing that?

So true!

I agree!

Some of it, sure.

I hope I am not coming off as judging Jews or Judaism. I respect Jews and the Jewish religion but I also recognize the Judaism of today is very different from the Judaism of Jesus' day which itself was quite different from the religion practiced by the ancient Israelites.

Not really. We still keep the same laws, customs, and traditions.

I am sure the jews that follow the Torah, are very similar to the jews at jesus' time.

And I am glad that many jews today stick to the G-D of the jews, and don't worship jesus.

Why not? Some of the biggest enemies of jews are jews.

So one sect of Jews criticizing another sect of Jews is antisemitic in your eyes? Nice logic there. When one sect of Christianity criticizes another Christian sect, does that mean they're "trashing Christianity"? Etc, etc.

They were not a sect.

They tried to lead Jews astray to worship Jesus.

They were Christians.

They were still Jews and at that time, Christianity was still a sect of Judaism. I know you hate Christianity but it did start as a sect of Judaism. There have always been various sects of Judaism. That's how it is.

Christianity never was a sect of Judaism.

Christianity is a completely different religion.

It means the other folks are heretics. Heretics are free game. They don’t count.

Then you're just as much an historical revisionist as the orthodox church.

I don't think any historian or scholar denies that Christianity was originally a sect of Torah obedient Jews.

The concept of "Judaism" being purely a tradition of Rabbinical commentary from the Talmud is a much later concept.

What do you think "worship" means exactly?

King David was "worshiped". Moses "worshiped" his Father in Law. Abraham "worshiped" Angels.

The first Christians were not Trinitarian whatsoever. They did not believe Jesus was "God" but the incarnation of "The Logos" or as the Targums call it, the "Word of God".
