The Pagan Christ?

Well here is a video that says it proves that all of the stories of the Pagan Gods that came before Christ Horus and so on that were born of a virgin and 12 decidples, etc crucified is not proof that the Christian story is a knock off of Paganism. He said he had proof and was going to go over every one of the lives real lives of Gods and Godesses and tell the truth and PROVE that they are all phonies and Jesus is the only person Christ who was crucified and resurrected.

Well had he did what he said he was going to do prove every one of the stories as myths , sense there are hundreds of Gods like that it should have taken him 14 hours to make the video. Instead it rook him 13 minutes because he only went over of the stories one of them being Horus LMFAO.

Then he went back all together change his whole entire theory OMG. He said so what if its true there were a bunch of Gods who had the same story as Jesus. Jesus is the only one of them that was actually true.I am actually shocked he did that, the whole video was supposedly made to invalidate all that.

Then he said his proof was that every historian that has ever lied agrees one hundred percent that Jesus was a person and that all of the testimonials by his followers were true.

There is no proof he offered no proof for that. Sense I have read testimonials on the net and including in wiki that
say historians don't all say that, I know its wrong.

I would think that as Christians they would think seriously before they make a fool out of themselves saying they can debunk the Pagan God stories then come back and say can not debunk it.

Nothing proved here, but ok topic to explore. I acknowledge that pagan mythology has corrupted Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. First the corruption comes through Canaanite, Babylonian, and Sumerian mythology in the Pentateuch which all claim rests at the foundation of their scripture and belief systems.

I believe there was a real man named Yeshua, who was a Nazarene, from the sect of the Essenes, a Jewish mystical cult, which derived most of its teachings from the East. These original teachings were breath-based and did not include blood-sacrifice. Paul and Rome aggressively went after the Nazarenes as tney presented a threat to the Roman authorities. They crucified Yeshua, whose teachings were then overwritten by Paul with the pagan blood based teachings of Mithra as a device to convert tens of thousands of pagans into Paul's new religion, since the pagans already had the promise of eternal life in Mithra. Paul was raised in Tarsus, a center for the mystery religions of the time. The new doctrine said that all one need do in order to attain salvation is to submit and accept 'Jesus' as one's Lord and Savior. No long hours of meditation. No difficult inner work. No breath exercises. Just submit. This is what Constantine wanted to control his populace, and why it was made into a state religion.

For an expaned explanation of this idea, see here: Paul and the Mystery Religions

Thank you for the last post its good. Here's an interesting video, it had Christians whoa argue against the Pagan Christ theory but to me they don't ave a leg to stand on.

They argue Horace and Egyptian religion did not have the messiah dying God man or God who rose from the dead. They did not offer any proof however. Just to say its not true does not prove anything.

So if anyone has info on Horace please feel free to post it. However they did admit there were several Pagan Gods other Gods from other religions that mirrored Christ' story completely.

The fact that they admitted that kills any validity to their story.

Here is the video

This movie Zietgiest explains a lot. I watched another Christian film trying to debunk the Pagan Christ theory again and failed miserably. The guy only went over Horus nothing else, when there's a hundred other Gods wwith the messiah story.

Anyways e tried to prove that Horus only had a magical birth not a virgin birth magical? To me magical means about the same thing as virgin. They also said that Horus was not born on the 5th but somewhere close the 25th. Well December is the month for Winter Pagan holiday.

The fact that Jesus was born close tot he other is still enough proof to me.But he tried to say the birth date was something that Pagan Christ believers were using as proof because they were the same.

That's wrong. According to the Zietgiest film they use 12-25 for the birthday because the sun moves to a point in the sky that marks the end of winter and or the beginning of spring ,I may have that wrong but it is a position of the sun that happens every year that marks the seasons on the 25th of December.

They just conveniently leave that put of their debunking I guess because they can not debunk it. It makes Christianity look way less credible.

Here is the Zietgist movie, it is pretty good.

Annoyingly Progressive Since 2006
We know that some of the Jesus stories were appropriated from Augustus myth. One of the earliest pieces of Xtian art is a bas-relief scene that’s a direct ripoff of an earlier scene with Augustus, the emperor-god. The image of Augustus was changed to Jesus. I think it’s on an ancient baptistery. I can’t remember right now; I’ve seen side-by-side comparisons of both sculptures.

From “The Ancestors of Jesus in First and Second Century Judea BCE”
By Robert Mock M.D.
December 2007.
Book One
Chapter Two we learn that this young maiden, Miriam, was a child of sorrow. Her father, Heli, a Davidic and Hasmonean prince, called Alexander Helios III, was apparently executed, in the world where many Davidian aspirants, as the “young lions of Judah”, were eliminated by the cruel and tyrannical King Herod the Great., Etc.

Cleopatra, the mother of Alexander Helios III, represented herself as the reincarnation of the Egyptian goddess ‘Isis’, and was given the title of “Queen of Kings” by Mark Anthony. Her son ‘Caesarion’ was also given many titles, including ‘god’, ‘Son of god’ and ‘King of Kings’ and was depicted as Horus the son of Isis. It was after the assassination of Caesar in 44 BC, that Cleopatra coupled up with Mark Anthony and in 40 BC she bore to him the twins Cleopatra Selene II and Alexander Helios, and later on another son, Ptolemy Philadelphus.

In late 34 BC, at the Donations of Alexandria, shortly after Anthony had conquered Armenia, Cleopatra and Caesarion were crowned rulers of Egypt and Cyprus. Alexander Helios, their six-year-old son, was crowned ruler of Aemenia, Media and Parthia; Cleopatra Selene II, Heli’s six-year-old twin sister, was crowned ruler of Cyrenaica and Libya, and Ptolemy Philadelphus, the younger of their three children was crowned ruler of Phoenicia, Syria and Cilicia.

Isis was the most popular goddess from the time of Psamtik 1 (663-610 B.C) till the coming of Christianity, her cult appealed to the Greeks and Romans alike and when Egypt came under Roman rule, her cult spread through much of Europe. By the time of Jesus, the chief centre of her worship was in Rome. Isis is commonly depicted with Horus the child (Harpocrates) on her lap, and today, it is almost impossible to distinguish between the late pagan and early Christian figures of the mother and child, [Isis and Horus---Mary and Jesus] it’s almost as though the old Pagan Queen was stripped of her mythical garments and clothed with the new covering of Christianity.

It is said that after the death of her father, Alexander Helios=Heli, “who was a father of renowned,” the seven-year-old Mary [who is believed to be the grand-daughter of Mark Antony] was removed from her mother and taken north into the land of Galilee where she was raised under the protection of the Jewish zealots whose aim it was, to throw off the yoke of Roman rule and establish a descendant of King David, back on the throne of Israel.

There are those who believe that the union between Mary, the daughter of Alexander Helios, with her half-brother Joseph the son of Heli, from which union the child Jesus was born, was arranged by the Zealots, as it was the custom in those days for the female heir to the throne, (Mary, the daughter of Alexander Helios,) to unite with their brother, as Cleopatra and all female heirs had done before her.

But because Joseph the son of Alexander Helios and any male offspring of his, would have been seen as a threat to the throne of Herod the Great as was his father, the biological father of Jesus had to remain hidden, and for the safety of the child, the pregnant Mary, was married off to Joseph the son of Jacob, a descendant of the cursed genetic line of King Jehoiachin.

Herod’s chief advisers, would not have seen Jesus, who they believed was the son of Joseph ben Jacob as a threat to the throne of Herod, because Mary, unbeknown to the Jewish authorities was already pregnant to her half-brother “Joseph the son of Alexander Helios,” and was taken to wife by Joseph the son of Jacob from the tribe of Judah. This Joseph ben Jacob, who married the already pregnant Mary and who was only the step-father of Jesus, was a descendant of Solomon through the cursed line of Jehoiachin, of whom we read in Jeremiah 22: 30; “This man is condemned to lose his children, to be a man who will never succeed. He will have no descendants who will rule in Judah as David’s successor. I, the Lord, have spoken.” This rules out the hope of any son of Joseph ben Jacob ever sitting on the throne of David, whereas Jesus the son of Joseph ben Heli=Alexander Helios was a legitimate successor to that throne.

Jehoshua III, the High Priest until 23 BC, is supposed to have died three years before the birth of his grand-daughter ‘Mary.’ If it was his death that ended his period as high priest in Jerusalem in the year of 23 BC, this would mean that Mary was born in 20 BC, the same year as the birth of Philip the son of Herod and his young Jewess wife, ‘Cleopatra.’

Therefore, Mary would have been 7 years old when her father Heli was murdered in 13 BC, and 14 years old when she gave birth to Jesus, who was born in 6 BC, two years before the death of Herod the Great in 4 BC, making Mary about 47 years old when Jesus, the first of her three biological sons, was crucified.
