The “rules” of a Creator God are straightforward.

I “default” to “of God” because the rules “tell” me to do so.

Hence I “submit” to the rules, I don’t challenge nor interpret them for my own benefit.

I’m summary I neither hate the player, nor the game.
Just Umpires or Refs who make bad calls. lol

2 Peter 1

Easy-to-Read Version

1 Greetings from Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ.
To all of you who share in the same valuable faith that we have. This faith was given to us because our God and Savior Jesus Christ always does what is good and right.
2 Grace and peace be given to you more and more, because now you know God and Jesus our Lord.

3 Jesus has the power of God. And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus chose us by his glory and goodness, 4 through which he also gave us the very great and rich gifts that he promised us. With these gifts you can share in being like God. And so you will escape the ruin that comes to people in the world because of the evil things they want.

5 Because you have these blessings, do all you can to add to your life these things: to your faith add goodness; to your goodness add knowledge; 6 to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add patience; to your patience add devotion to God; 7 to your devotion add kindness toward your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to this kindness add love. 8 If all these things are in you and growing, you will never fail to be useful to God. You will produce the kind of fruit that should come from your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But those who don’t grow in these blessings are blind. They cannot see clearly what they have. They have forgotten that they were cleansed from their past sins.

The Bible teaches that once you die you are simply dead until a possible resurrection from the grave.
And some parts of the Bible don't teach resurrection. In the Second Temple period the Pharisees and the Sadducees had different beliefs about resurrection. Josephus wrote:

They [the Pharisees] also believe that souls have an immortal vigour in them: and that under the earth there will be rewards, or punishments; according as they have lived virtuously or viciously in this life: and the latter are to be detained in an everlasting prison; but that the former shall have power to revive and live again /... /
But the doctrine of the Sadducees is this; that souls die with the bodies.

Ideology is a problem to be solved before we can have any real debate. Specifically, regarding the Bible, the first problem is separating the ideology from the factual. Ideologically people think the Bible is many things it isn't. So, the idea that the Bible only presents "truth" is ideologically illogical. The Bible teaches the Pharisees and the Sadducees differed in their opinion of the resurrection. It also says snakes and donkeys talked, when they did not. Eve thought the snake talked. The Bible says the snake talked. According to Eve, who was deceived. The snake didn't talk.

Don't the Muslims use the same argument with Arabic and the Quran?
Muslims give translations with the original Arabic text so that in case of some ambiguity the original text is conveniently referred, translations are never considered Word of G-d, "Word of G-d" is the original ever fresh Arabic text of Quran from Muhammad's time, please, right?
