Today, I happened to be in Berkeley in regards to a UC Berkeley errand for my daughter, and I was coming down from the West Campus driving down Bancroft off Shattuck Ave heading right towards Milvia St where Bancroft dead ends into Milvia. I was planning on turning right on Milvia when I had to come to a complete stop as there was a large march of people with American flags, large pro-Trump banners, some waving Trump banners, holding V for Victory, on sides they were escorted by motorcycle cops, and I suspect the fake local news will under report their numbers but without question there were 200+ of these people.
Most of them were between 20 years old to 30 years old, some were clearly students, some were motorcycle club members including Hells Angels and yes, a few "skin heads" but there were some "older folk" men as well. They were loudly chanting USA and things like that.
Now I had no idea this was going to happen, I found myself totally unexpected having to wait in my sedan as they passed by, for a long time. The motorcycle cops would flash their lights, as the pro-Trump folks passed there were Berkeley PD squad cars at their back also escorting, and I assume also at the front of the march, the marchers were clearly heading to MLK Jr Civic Center and Park. Why they didn't come down MLK Jr Drive itself I have no idea, probably because the cops made them go down Milvia to "avoid trouble".
I knew there was probably going to be trouble, and I had errands to do otherwise I would have joined them even if there would be fighting.
When I got home, I heard from the news there was indeed fighting, the typical anti-free speech anarchists wearing black and hiding behind masks tried to muscle with some of the Trump peopie, one old guy was pepper sprayed in the face by an Alt-Left **** head, your normal despotic left antics and losers. But watching the pro-Trump people, even though I knew "trouble" would start, I was very impressed with the bravery of these people. Anyway, some were biker types so I don't think the anarchists would be able to get the better of them anyway, some were not to be messed with and in fact it was clear they were EXPECTING "trouble".
It is clear to me now, the Trumpsters are now going to start to get into the street and are itching for a fight, which I think might be good for America overall. I think we are not too far away from open militia types next marching right down Telegraph Ave and ready to bust it up with the Left, they are not afraid to go right into Berkeley and their numbers are growing fast.
We live in interesting times.
And speaking of trouble, I love Milo, who is a pro-Trump homosexual. My daughter is a UC Berkeley student, she is a Hindu but sort of an atheist Hindu. So she was at school the day when Milo came to speak.
She told me everything. That the anti-Milo "fascists" (that was her words, not mine, she and her friends including several from India and one from Iran who hates the Iranian mullahs - they called the "anarchists" et all "fascists" for being anti-free speech), they caused "trouble".
She told me everything. Her, along with other girls, had to "shelter in place" in one of the campus libraries. Because, what was happening was, these "outsider" anarchists along with a FEW students were going around in "clicks" or "groups" - she emphasized again and again that most of these were NOT students but "outsiders", and they were NOT one unified "group" but several different one's each with different anti-Milo agendas - these "fascists" of different variety would "surround a student walking to class" and then "demand they participate" in the hate-Milo, hate antics, some would INTERROGATE a student as to their "beliefs" and if the wrong answer then the anarchists et all would start to "pull on the clothes of the student, or try to grab their books from their hands and throw the books".
She said there were violent BLM outsiders, anarchists, but the worst were "members of a UC Palestianian group" who were looking for and targetting Jews and Trump supporters.
So she, along with 14 other girls got into a library "to shelter in place" because "girls were the one's most targetted" for abuse and demands to "join in, or else" such harassment because they were easier to push around.
Then more sheltered to avoid the "violent outsiders". My daughter along with others had to stay in the campus library until 2am to "avoid the violence" of the "outsiders".
Milo will be back, because many students want to hear him speak.
And now we are seeing the first signs of Trumpsters also taking to the streets to get in the face of the anarchists, the anti-homosexual Palestinian radical types, et all.
Trouble?
You bet. It's coming. As for today, since like I said, I had errands to run, I decided to turn my car around instead and avoid the Civic Center, using an alternate route. But there might be another day where I may give some time to free speech. After all, isn't free speech a UC Berkeley tradition? Ok, it isn't anymore. But let's revive it.
Oh, and we want Obama arrested. Felony. His Nixonian goons were wiretapping Trump Tower and Americans in huge numbers. Those fascist pigs.
