The problem of Creationism in Islam rejecting the science of evolution.

“Are we alone in the universe?” This question has haunted humankind for centuries. As
recent as two decades ago, it was quite uncertain whether stars other than our own sun even hosted
their own planets. But all of that has changed. Today, the ever-growing count of confirmed
exoplanets is around 3,500 - and at least 6 of them are potential earths. It would defy reason and
logic to argue that humans are the only intelligent life form in the universe. And with evidence for
this fact ever mounting, many people are asking an important question: if extra terrestrial life was
confirmed, how would it effect the world’s religions?
This topic is rarely discussed in religious services but if you read the scriptures, the truth
becomes all too clear, that God’s creation extends beyond our tiny world. The Psalms, sacred to
both Jews and Christians, claim that God has given names to all the stars. According to the Talmud,
God spends his night flying throughout 18,000 worlds. And the Holy Quran states, “It is Allah who
has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them
so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things
in knowledge.” (Holy Quran 65:12)
Imam Alsadiq (pbuh) once said to his companion Jaber bin Yazeed: “Do you think that God
created just this world? And Do you see that God did not create human beings other than you? By
God, (He) has created a thousand worlds and a thousand Adams and you are in the last of these
worlds and those Adams.” (Book of Altawheed (Monotheism) - Alsadiq p:277.)
So who or what resides in these other worlds? Imam Ahmed al Hassan (pbuh) has said that
certain planets out there are filled with creatures who would appear, to us, as very strange. But not
all of them are completely foreign to our imaginations. Perhaps you have heard of the mythical
headless men. According to legend, these creatures have no head upon their shoulders and their face
appears, instead, on their chest.
The first historical account of these creatures comes from the Greek historian Herodotus,
who placed them in the Eastern part of Libya in the 5th century BC. But he isn’t the only person to
report them. In fact, people have been spotting them for more than 2,000 years. 400 years after
Herodotus, Roman historian Pliny the Elder insisted that the headless men were real. He called
them the Belmmyae and situated them somewhere in Ethiopia. He also described them as total
savages who were extremely dangerous.
Sitings of the headless men kept coming. In the 12th century, an explorer named Fermes
claimed he found a tribe of them living on an island in Ethiopia, adding that they were 12 feet tall.
Famous explorers from Sir John Mandeville to Sir Walter Raleigh insisted that these creatures were
real. The works of Shakespeare describe “men whose heads do grow beneath their shoulders,” and
according to legend, Alexander the Great also encountered these creatures in his travels. The
headless men are a well documented part of our history, which has never had a reasonable
explanation - until now. Imam Ahmed Al Hassan (pbuh) has revealed that the headless men were an
extra terrestrial race from another planet.
The same is true of the mythical dog-headed human. The term Cynocephaly describes the
head of a dog upon a human body. And such a creature appears in the cultural lore of various
regions and dates back as far as ancient Egypt. In the 5th century BC, a Greek physician named
Ctesias travelled to India and came back with very unusual stories. He claimed that high up in the
mountains, he discovered a tribe of men, called the Calystrii, who had the heads of dogs. According
to Ctesias, they spoke no language but barked like dogs. They could understand the other people of
India but had to reply by barking or using sign language. And there was no small number of them.
Ctesai reported up to 120,000 of them living in the mountains of India.
In the centuries to come people backed up his story. About 200 years later, another man
followed Ctesias’s path into India and reported back that the Calystrii were real and instisted that he
had seen them himself. And it wasn’t just the Greeks. Indian and Tang Dynasty Chinese writers
reported a group of dog-headed men living near Tibet. Centuries later Marco Polo, in his
explorations, encountered an island in the Indian Ocean where all the men had heads like dogs. All
of these reports are true. These beings were not a work of fiction. Like the headless men, they are an
extra terrestrial race, who colonised the earth at some point in history.
We know exactly how a human being is supposed to look. And extra terrestrials do not
always appear entirely different from us. Some aliens are composed of the same parts, they are
simply arranged in a different way. On one planet, the people have private parts in place where we
have heads and their heads appear in the place where we have private parts. And on another planet,
there are creatures, which are identical to human beings in every single way, except one: on this
planet, the humans are the animals. Their intelligence is that of an animal on this planet and they
growl and bite and behave exactly as animals do. The intelligent creature on this planet is a rabbit -
a giant rabbit, the size of a bear, which stands upright and walks on two feet rather than four. This
planet is is called Al Aroos and the intelligent rabbit species is called Roob.
There are also extra terrestrials which bear no resemblance to us, and they exist in a
completely different reality. The rules of physics, as we know them, are entirely different in these
places. For example, on one planet there is a creature the width of a delicate thread that weigh more
than an adult elephant. Certain alien species are difficult for us to imagine because nothing
comparable exists on this planet. Others are very familiar to us because they appear in our art and
mythology. Sometimes aliens come to earth in large numbers, sometimes they come individually.
Sometimes they come on purpose and sometimes they find themselves here by accident.
All over this planet, there are worm holes, doors to other words, which open and close at
different times. Sometimes creatures fall into these portals and wind up on this planet by accident.
This is exactly what happened to one of earth’s most legendary monsters - the dragon. These batwinged,
fire-breathing lizards are not of this world, but they have visited this planet on several
occasions throughout history. Even to this day, every once in a while, a dragon falls into a portal
and turns up on our planet. This might make you wonder: how many of our myths have a basis in
reality? Perhaps some creatures from earth have also ended up in the mythical narrative of another
planet.
What is a myth, if not a fantastic tale, which defies the laws of nature as we know them?
Stories like this are not unknown to us. In fact, they fill the pages of our holy books. Take, for
example, the story of Prophet Jeremiah, which appears in the Holy Quran.
Jeremiah was sent as God’s messenger to the nation of Israel, in order to warn them from their sins,
lest they be punished. But the people did not heed his warning. The Israelites persevered in their
sinful ways until one day, the punishment came down on them.
The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, and his soldiers entered Jerusalem and killed the
Israelites until they were nearly extinct. He destroyed and desecrated the Temple and eventually he
left Jerusalem, returning to Babylon along with captive prisoners. After all of this, Jeremiah went
forth on his donkey, carrying with him grape juice and a basket of figs. When he saw Jerusalem so
destroyed he said “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a
hundred years; then He revived him. He said, "How long have you remained?" The man said, "I
have remained a day or part of a day." He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years.
Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We
will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] - how We raise them
and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is
over all things competent.” (Holy Quran 2:259)
And so, Jeremiah, after having been dead for 113 years, travelled until he met a king by the
name of Eram. Eram was also known as "He with Two Horn" or "Tho Al Qarnayn”. Jeremiah was
also known as Al Khidr and he was Tho Al Qarnayn’s companion throughout his quest to find the
Fountain of Life. Imam Zainul Abideen (pbuh) described their journey in the following hadith:
"Verily Tho Al Qarnayn had a companion from the Angels who was called Rinaqeel and he asked
him, do you know that on Earth there is a fountain called the fountain of Life?” So he described its
location for him, so Tho Al Qarnayn, went looking for it and he made Al Khidr at the forefront of
his army." And Al Khidr reached it in a dark valley and drank from it and Tho Al Qarnayn did not.”
Imam Ahmed Al Hassan (pbuh) has revealed that the journey of Jeremiah and Dhul Qarnayn was an
interstellar journey, in which they traveled to planets approximately 2.6 million light years away.
According to the Holy Quran, Dhul Qarnayn and his army reached a place where the people
warned them against entities called “Gog and Magog.” The mysterious identity of Gog and Magog
has long baffled Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. These terms appear in the scriptures of all
three religions, dating back to the book of Genesis. So who or what are they? And where do they
come from? “The prince of the Believer, Imam Ali (pbuh) was asked about creation, He said: God
created a thousand and two hundred in the land and a thousand and two hundred in the sea and the
races of the sons of Adam are seventy, and all people are sons of Adam except Gog and
Magog” (Reference : book of Alkafi – alkuleiny – part : 8 K page : 220) And Imam Ahmed Al
Hassan (pbuh) has confirmed that Gog and Magog are not from earth. They are a different race
from a different planet.
This is too long and rambling to properly respond to, and does not specifically address the issues of this thread.

It is best to respond directly to the issues in this thread and start threads that address the beliefs and issues you have described above.

You measure authority by the Taghut. It is simple. On death you will realize it.
This is a subjective religious claim of authority, and no an objective argument for how the cosmos was Created and life evolved. You also claimed you have also the support of science, and have failed to present your support from science. Intelligent Design is not a fallible hypothesis

This is too long and rambling to properly respond to, and does not specifically address the issues of this thread.

Ok, I just wanted to state my perspective. In our religion, our teacher and master Aba Sadiq from him is peace taught us, that theory of evolution is a lie, and that all these pre homo sapiens species were in fact extraterrestrial in origin and that they have a common ancestor,, which is called Haytan. People today know these species as Sasquatch or Big foot and it maybe looks like a primitive monkey but in truth, it is very intelligent and spiritual.

Humanity has pondered over the origin of life, and has searched for answers in religion and science.
Both fields have tried to explain the origin of life. From theories such as the Big Bang to Evolution,
for many, science has provided a satisfactory explanation that replaces theistic arguments. Over the
last century, the Theory of Evolution, which began with Charles Darwin, has become a mainstream
belief. In our times, avowed atheists propagate it and anti-theist scientists like Richard Dawkins
have popularized the idea through books like The God Delusion . For the most part, the propagation
has been effective.
Charles Darwin traveled around the world where he would catalog the local plants and animals.
On one of his trips to the Galapagos Islands, he noticed non-identical species of finches with each
species having a slightly different beak. Years later, he would come up with the idea that these
species all must have a common ancestor. These differences must be due to adaptation to new
circumstances over time. As a result, they evolved slightly according to their environment. Thus,
similarities in species and adaptation became the basis for the Theory of Evolution.
Darwin concluded through analogy, that living beings that looked similar must have a common
origin that adapted to new conditions. Over a long period, the differences and changes would
become so many that they give rise to a new species. Thus, the reason for the changes would be the
factor that would allow one species to survive and others to become extinct. He called this law the
survival of the fittest . Therefore, according to Darwin, evolution was necessary to adapt and survive.
Through natural selection, the strongest in nature survived and they had similar features. Finally,
their shared features pointed to a common ancestor and origin.
One day someone asked Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan (From Him is Peace), “ Is the theory of
Evolution correct? ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ The theory of evolution is one of the dumbest theories out
there. Iblis is the one who taught Darwin the Theory of Evolution. ”
Someone said, “ Can you help me with a small piece of information about the origin of life? There
are a lot of similarities between humans and other species. ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ For example, who does the human resemble? ”
The person said, “ Humans and apes for example, and there are other organs or parts in our bodies
that resemble other species. ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ There is a resemblance as well between some aquatic species
and some mammals, and there are also plants that resemble mammals. And there are also stones that
were formed to look like human faces and animals and plants by natural events such as wind and
rain. So, are these stones now biologically related to humans? Of course not. The answer is no, there is
no relationship between apes and humans. ”
The person said, “ So what about the origin of life? ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ It was with Adam (PBUH). He is the first human
creation. ”
We have included here some images of inanimate beings that resemble human or animal
anatomy. If the Theory of Evolution claims that resemblance between species means there is a
biological relationship, then these plants and stones should be biologically related to us as well. In
this argument, the Imam (From Him is Peace) is saying that similarity is not a sucient condition
to prove the basic tenets of the Theory of Evolution. Furthermore, this theory does not even
consider an extraterrestrial source for life on Earth. Thus, the Imam (From Him is Peace) is
categorically rejecting any truth in the Theory of Evolution.

According to science, modern humans ( Homo sapiens ) evolved from an earlier form known as
Homo habilis or Homo erectus . Scientists discovered their fossils in Africa and identifieed similar
features to modern humans like their body proportion, size, and hands. They believe that these
features are the result of adaptation from living in trees to living on the ground. However, these
assumptions are false. Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan (From Him is Peace) debunks this myth by
revealing the reality of the Haytan. The Haytan are human ape-like species that lived on the planet
and still do to this very day.
I said, “ The creature that the natives call Bigfoot or Yeti, that resembles the Haytan… ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ Those are the descendants of the Haytan. ”
I said, “ Glory be to God. ”
The Imam (From Him is Peace) said, “ I told you before, there are still many of them still alive
today. ”

Subjectivity has a broader meaning than the trivial example above.

What Does “Subjective” Mean?

If you’re looking at something subjectively, that means you’re using your opinions, feelings, or perception to shape your thoughts about that subject. In other words, subjectivity is influenced by one’s own emotions and beliefs and therefore varies from person to person.

What Does “Objective” Mean?

If something is objective, that means it is based on facts and measurable data. An objective statement can be proven [or falsified] with evidence and cannot be influenced by anyone’s personal beliefs or emotions.

Belief in God is subjective, because there is no objective evidence for the existence of God outside those that believe in God as defined above.

The science of evolution are determined by predictive objective verifiable evidence. There is no objective basis for rejecting the sciences of evolution.

The sciences of evolution are universally accepted by every major academic university in the world and 95%++ of all scientists in the fields related to evolution. Those that object to evolution have not presented any falsifiable hypothesis that can support their belief.

There is far more certainty in the objective verifiable evidence for evolution than the claims based on ancient tribal texts without known provenance nor objective evidence to support the beliefs. For this reason the beliefs you propose lack any objective 'axis for truth,' and are based on subjective religious beliefs. You have not presented any objective independent evidence to support your claims. See definition.

. . . but still it is very likely you are from an Islamic background and returning to the fold you were previously conditioned to believe. It is common in most religions East and West for people to wander away from their religion they were raised in, but to then return to the fold,

What is lack in the above is an independent objective search beyond Islam. You have failed to provide any objectiv escientific evidence or argument against evolution other than your religious subjective objections by definition.

Praise be to Allah. He is such that senses cannot perceive Him, place cannot contain Him, eyes cannot see Him and veils cannot cover Him. He proves His eternity by the coming into existence of His creation, and (also) by originating His creation (He proves) His existence, and by their (mutual) similarity He proves that there is nothing similar to Him. He is true in His promise. He is too high to be unjust to His creatures. He stands by equity among His creation and practices justice over them in His commands. He provides evidence through the creation of things of His being from ever, through their marks of incapability of His power, and through their powerlessness against death of His eternity.

He is One, but not by counting. He is everlasting without any limit. He is existent without any support. Minds admit of Him without (any activity of the) senses. Things which can be seen stand witness to Him without confronting Him. Imagination cannot encompass Him. He manifests Himself to the imagination with his help for the imagination, and refuses to be imagined by the imagination. He has made imagination the arbiter (in this matter). He is not great in the sense that volume is vast and so His body is also great. Nor is He mighty in the sense that His limits should extend to the utmost and so His frame be extensive. But He is great in position and mighty in authority.

He who assigns to Him (different) conditions does not believe in His Oneness, nor does he who likens Him grasp His reality. He who illustrates Him does not signify Him. He who points at Him and imagines Him does not mean Him. Everything that is known through itself has been created, and everything that exists by virtue of other things is the effect (of a cause). He works but not with the help of instruments. He fixes measures but not with the activity of thinking. He is rich but not by acquisition.

Times do not keep company with Him, and implements do not help Him. His Being precedes times. His Existence precedes non-existence and His eternity precedes beginning. By His creating the senses it is known that He has no senses. By the contraries in various matters it is known that He has no contrary, and by the similarity between things it is known that there is nothing similar to Him. He has made light the contrary of darkness, brightness that of gloom, dryness that of moisture and heat that of cold.

He produces affection among inimical things. He fuses together diverse things, brings near remote things and separates things which are joined together. He is not confined by limits, nor counted by numbers. Material parts can surround things of their own kind, and organs can point out things similar to themselves.

Stillness and motion do not occur in Him, and how can that thing occur in Him which He has Himself made to occur, and how can a thing revert to Him which He first created, and how can a thing appear in Him which He first brought to appearance. If it had not been so, His Self would have become subject to diversity, His Being would have become divisible (into parts), and His reality would have been prevented from being deemed Eternal.

If there was a front to Him there would have been a rear also for Him. He would need completing only if shortage befell Him. In that case signs of the created would appear in Him, and He would become a sign (leading to other objects) instead of signs leading to Him. Through the might of His abstention (from affectedness) He is far above being affected by things which affect others.

He is that which does not change or vanish. The process of setting does not behove Him. He has not begotten any one lest He be regarded as having been born. He has not been begotten otherwise He would be contained within limits. He is too High to have sons. He is too purified to contact women. Imagination cannot reach Him so as to assign Him quantity. Understanding cannot think of Him so as to give him shape. Senses do not perceive Him so as to feel Him. Hands cannot touch Him so as to rub against Him. He does not change into any condition. He does not pass from one state to another. Nights and days do not turn Him old. Light and darkness do not alter Him.

He cannot be described through (the possession of) parts, or through limbs and organs, or by a an accidental quality or alteration or portions. It cannot be said that He has a limit or extremity, or end or termination; nor do things control Him so as to raise Him or lower Him, nor does anything carry Him so as to bend Him or keep Him erect. He is not inside things or outside them. He conveys news, but not with the tongue or voice. He listens, but not with the holes of the ears or the organs of hearing. He says, but does not utter words.

He remembers, but does not memorise. He determines, but not by exercising His mind. He loves and approves without any sentimentality (of heart). He hates and feels angry without any painstaking. When He intends to create something He says ‘"..Be" and it is’ (2:117), but not through a voice that strikes (the ears) is that call heard. His speech is an act of His creation. His like never existed before this.

It cannot be said that He came into being after He had not been in existence because in that case the attributes of the created things would be assigned to Him and there would remain no difference between them and Him, and He would have no distinction over them. Thus, the Creator and the created would become equal and the initiator and the initiated would be on the same level. He created (the whole of) creation without any example made by someone else, and He did not secure the assistance of any one out of His creation for creating it.

He created the earth and suspended it without being busy, retained it without support, made it stand without legs, raised it without pillars, protected it against bendings and curvings and defended it against crumbling and splitting (into parts). He fixed mountains on it like stumps, solidified its rocks, caused its streams to flow and opened wide its valleys. Whatever He made did not suffer from any frailty, and whatever He strengthened did not show any weakness.

He manifests Himself over the earth with His authority and greatness. He is aware of its inside through his knowledge and understanding. He has power over every thing in the earth by virtue of His sublimity and dignity. Nothing from the earth that he may ask for defies Him, nor does it oppose Him so as to overpower Him. No swift-footed creature can run away from Him so as to surpass Him. He is not needy towards any possessing person so that he should feed Him. All things bow to Him and are humble before His greatness. They cannot flee away from His authority to someone else in order to escape His benefit or His harm. There is no parallel for Him who may match Him and no one like Him so as to equal Him.

...deny objective science and history in favor ...
It seems to me that you mix up objective science with your beliefs.
God could very well have Created our physical existence and the evolution of life based on Natural Laws and natural processes, and science remains neutral to this subjective belief.
Yeah, but, Bible God did it only the way that is said in the Bible. If something else is true, then Bible God is not true.

As far as the Creation synario, Noah's Flood as described in the Pentateuch and the Quran the objective verifiable evidence has been determined to have not happened.
Yeah, someone has decided it didn't happen. Does not mean it could not have happened.
Science ...it demonstrate that the Pentateuch, the Quran, and Intelligent Design fail to be factual objectively confirmed histories of our Cosmos, life and humanity.
Can you give shortly some kind of example how it does that?

Because it corrupts so-called religious movements and because it promotes ignorance, ill-judgement and superstition in the populations.
I don't think that is true, because believing God created is not against real demonstrable science. It is only against the beliefs of some.
Indeed it is. The problem is not in science, but rather in serious deficiencies of science education and in the enormous amount of superstition and denial in mainstream so-called religion.
I think the problem is that some think their beliefs are science.

Yeah, someone has decided it didn't happen. Does not mean it could not have happened.
No, the objective verifiable evidence in geology archaeology and history determined it did not happen, Yes, it means it could not have happened the way it is described in the Bible or the Quran.

Can you give shortly some kind of example how it does that?
It has been determined beyond any reasonable doubt that the Pentateuch was compiled after 600 BCE, and absolutely no known text has been found before that. The Hebrew language did not exist before that. As far as Noah's flood there is no archaeological evidence any such flood ever occured as the Bible described in the Pentateuch. The conclusion is it did not ever happen.

This has been covered in detail in many threads on this forum.

It seems to me that you mix up objective science with your beliefs.
The objective verifiable evidence is the consistent foundation of the knowledge and and understanding of our physical existence. There is a difference between subjective beliefs, and the objective knowledge of science by definition. Do you understand the difference in basic English
Yeah, but, Bible God did it only the way that is said in the Bible.
This is a fundamentalist Christian and Islamic (Quran) belief.

If something else is true, then Bible God is not true.

You would have to provide independent objective verifiable evidence to support the historical claims in the Pentateuch for the Creation Story and Noah's flood. This evidence does not exist. You are equating God and the Bible as a literal interpretation of the text, and yes this is an overwhelmingly false and an ancient tribal conflicting interpretation of the Pentateuch without provenance.

Believing in God Created is not against real science, but the question is the Genesis account is not compatable with science based on the objective verifiable evidence of the origin of the universe, and the evolution of life.
I think the problem is that some think their beliefs are science.
You are neglecting the objective verifiable evidence at the support of science lacking entirely in your interpretation of the conflicting contradictory text of ancient scripture without provenance and science.

Again long rambling posts cannot be responded to coherently. An odd phony Sasquatch video does not help your argument. Relying on ancient tribal conflicting texts to justify your argument against science is incoherent. You need to present objective verifiable evidence and good scientific references to support your argument.

Believing in God Created is not against real science, but the question is the Genesis account is not compatable with science based on the objective verifiable evidence of the origin of the universe, and the evolution of life.

You are neglecting the objective verifiable evidence at the support of science lacking entirely in your interpretation of the conflicting contradictory text of ancient scripture without provenance and science.

Origin of species is just a theory which became mainstream. Nothing else. Did you ask yourself why do you believe in a theory which was never proven as fact and many scientists question it from its inception? Or why did Tesla not get props for his inventions and he died poor for that matter?

As Sasquatch is as phony to you, you can't even imagine how phony the theory of evolution sounds to me. Wouldn't we look the same as our common ancestors if we developed from them? How do you apply your logic?

Actually it's a scientific theory that is confirmed and corroborated by 160+ years of research spanning across multiple fields of science, complied by multiple independent groups of scientists across the globe. There are mountains of evidence demonstrating that evolution is a fact of life. It is the backbone of biology.

I don't know what Tesla has to do with anything.

We do look like our ancestors. We share DNA with them as well, to varying degrees, depending on which ancestors your talking about.

These useless questions are contrived from an ancient tribal religious perspective without science.

Like others clinging to ancient paradigms your intentional ignorance is profound.

No

Apply science as science without ancient tribal religious agendas. The problem with logic is that misused it can be circular to justify what one believes without science. Science is the independent investigation of the nature of our physical existence.

Evolutions fun to learn about but that’s it. It is not based in reality. God gave us this world in a nano second imo. Life is full of mystery
