This is too long and rambling to properly respond to, and does not specifically address the issues of this thread.“Are we alone in the universe?” This question has haunted humankind for centuries. As
recent as two decades ago, it was quite uncertain whether stars other than our own sun even hosted
their own planets. But all of that has changed. Today, the ever-growing count of confirmed
exoplanets is around 3,500 - and at least 6 of them are potential earths. It would defy reason and
logic to argue that humans are the only intelligent life form in the universe. And with evidence for
this fact ever mounting, many people are asking an important question: if extra terrestrial life was
confirmed, how would it effect the world’s religions?
This topic is rarely discussed in religious services but if you read the scriptures, the truth
becomes all too clear, that God’s creation extends beyond our tiny world. The Psalms, sacred to
both Jews and Christians, claim that God has given names to all the stars. According to the Talmud,
God spends his night flying throughout 18,000 worlds. And the Holy Quran states, “It is Allah who
has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them
so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things
in knowledge.” (Holy Quran 65:12)
Imam Alsadiq (pbuh) once said to his companion Jaber bin Yazeed: “Do you think that God
created just this world? And Do you see that God did not create human beings other than you? By
God, (He) has created a thousand worlds and a thousand Adams and you are in the last of these
worlds and those Adams.” (Book of Altawheed (Monotheism) - Alsadiq p:277.)
So who or what resides in these other worlds? Imam Ahmed al Hassan (pbuh) has said that
certain planets out there are filled with creatures who would appear, to us, as very strange. But not
all of them are completely foreign to our imaginations. Perhaps you have heard of the mythical
headless men. According to legend, these creatures have no head upon their shoulders and their face
appears, instead, on their chest.
The first historical account of these creatures comes from the Greek historian Herodotus,
who placed them in the Eastern part of Libya in the 5th century BC. But he isn’t the only person to
report them. In fact, people have been spotting them for more than 2,000 years. 400 years after
Herodotus, Roman historian Pliny the Elder insisted that the headless men were real. He called
them the Belmmyae and situated them somewhere in Ethiopia. He also described them as total
savages who were extremely dangerous.
Sitings of the headless men kept coming. In the 12th century, an explorer named Fermes
claimed he found a tribe of them living on an island in Ethiopia, adding that they were 12 feet tall.
Famous explorers from Sir John Mandeville to Sir Walter Raleigh insisted that these creatures were
real. The works of Shakespeare describe “men whose heads do grow beneath their shoulders,” and
according to legend, Alexander the Great also encountered these creatures in his travels. The
headless men are a well documented part of our history, which has never had a reasonable
explanation - until now. Imam Ahmed Al Hassan (pbuh) has revealed that the headless men were an
extra terrestrial race from another planet.
The same is true of the mythical dog-headed human. The term Cynocephaly describes the
head of a dog upon a human body. And such a creature appears in the cultural lore of various
regions and dates back as far as ancient Egypt. In the 5th century BC, a Greek physician named
Ctesias travelled to India and came back with very unusual stories. He claimed that high up in the
mountains, he discovered a tribe of men, called the Calystrii, who had the heads of dogs. According
to Ctesias, they spoke no language but barked like dogs. They could understand the other people of
India but had to reply by barking or using sign language. And there was no small number of them.
Ctesai reported up to 120,000 of them living in the mountains of India.
In the centuries to come people backed up his story. About 200 years later, another man
followed Ctesias’s path into India and reported back that the Calystrii were real and instisted that he
had seen them himself. And it wasn’t just the Greeks. Indian and Tang Dynasty Chinese writers
reported a group of dog-headed men living near Tibet. Centuries later Marco Polo, in his
explorations, encountered an island in the Indian Ocean where all the men had heads like dogs. All
of these reports are true. These beings were not a work of fiction. Like the headless men, they are an
extra terrestrial race, who colonised the earth at some point in history.
We know exactly how a human being is supposed to look. And extra terrestrials do not
always appear entirely different from us. Some aliens are composed of the same parts, they are
simply arranged in a different way. On one planet, the people have private parts in place where we
have heads and their heads appear in the place where we have private parts. And on another planet,
there are creatures, which are identical to human beings in every single way, except one: on this
planet, the humans are the animals. Their intelligence is that of an animal on this planet and they
growl and bite and behave exactly as animals do. The intelligent creature on this planet is a rabbit -
a giant rabbit, the size of a bear, which stands upright and walks on two feet rather than four. This
planet is is called Al Aroos and the intelligent rabbit species is called Roob.
There are also extra terrestrials which bear no resemblance to us, and they exist in a
completely different reality. The rules of physics, as we know them, are entirely different in these
places. For example, on one planet there is a creature the width of a delicate thread that weigh more
than an adult elephant. Certain alien species are difficult for us to imagine because nothing
comparable exists on this planet. Others are very familiar to us because they appear in our art and
mythology. Sometimes aliens come to earth in large numbers, sometimes they come individually.
Sometimes they come on purpose and sometimes they find themselves here by accident.
All over this planet, there are worm holes, doors to other words, which open and close at
different times. Sometimes creatures fall into these portals and wind up on this planet by accident.
This is exactly what happened to one of earth’s most legendary monsters - the dragon. These batwinged,
fire-breathing lizards are not of this world, but they have visited this planet on several
occasions throughout history. Even to this day, every once in a while, a dragon falls into a portal
and turns up on our planet. This might make you wonder: how many of our myths have a basis in
reality? Perhaps some creatures from earth have also ended up in the mythical narrative of another
planet.
What is a myth, if not a fantastic tale, which defies the laws of nature as we know them?
Stories like this are not unknown to us. In fact, they fill the pages of our holy books. Take, for
example, the story of Prophet Jeremiah, which appears in the Holy Quran.
Jeremiah was sent as God’s messenger to the nation of Israel, in order to warn them from their sins,
lest they be punished. But the people did not heed his warning. The Israelites persevered in their
sinful ways until one day, the punishment came down on them.
The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, and his soldiers entered Jerusalem and killed the
Israelites until they were nearly extinct. He destroyed and desecrated the Temple and eventually he
left Jerusalem, returning to Babylon along with captive prisoners. After all of this, Jeremiah went
forth on his donkey, carrying with him grape juice and a basket of figs. When he saw Jerusalem so
destroyed he said “How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a
hundred years; then He revived him. He said, "How long have you remained?" The man said, "I
have remained a day or part of a day." He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years.
Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We
will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] - how We raise them
and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is
over all things competent.” (Holy Quran 2:259)
And so, Jeremiah, after having been dead for 113 years, travelled until he met a king by the
name of Eram. Eram was also known as "He with Two Horn" or "Tho Al Qarnayn”. Jeremiah was
also known as Al Khidr and he was Tho Al Qarnayn’s companion throughout his quest to find the
Fountain of Life. Imam Zainul Abideen (pbuh) described their journey in the following hadith:
"Verily Tho Al Qarnayn had a companion from the Angels who was called Rinaqeel and he asked
him, do you know that on Earth there is a fountain called the fountain of Life?” So he described its
location for him, so Tho Al Qarnayn, went looking for it and he made Al Khidr at the forefront of
his army." And Al Khidr reached it in a dark valley and drank from it and Tho Al Qarnayn did not.”
Imam Ahmed Al Hassan (pbuh) has revealed that the journey of Jeremiah and Dhul Qarnayn was an
interstellar journey, in which they traveled to planets approximately 2.6 million light years away.
According to the Holy Quran, Dhul Qarnayn and his army reached a place where the people
warned them against entities called “Gog and Magog.” The mysterious identity of Gog and Magog
has long baffled Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. These terms appear in the scriptures of all
three religions, dating back to the book of Genesis. So who or what are they? And where do they
come from? “The prince of the Believer, Imam Ali (pbuh) was asked about creation, He said: God
created a thousand and two hundred in the land and a thousand and two hundred in the sea and the
races of the sons of Adam are seventy, and all people are sons of Adam except Gog and
Magog” (Reference : book of Alkafi – alkuleiny – part : 8 K page : 220) And Imam Ahmed Al
Hassan (pbuh) has confirmed that Gog and Magog are not from earth. They are a different race
from a different planet.
