I have heard that some Jews also the the Prophets in the Old Testament. Is that true, and if so, why and what do they think about them?

The Prophets are part of Hebrew scripture. They are a collection of writings, and what a Jew might think about any particular text will vary. Rhetorical questions like that are typically agenda driven while being typically awkward at best.Good Lord how are you asking us if Jews place value on the Prophets in our very own Bibles?
That's like asking if Mohammed has some value in Islam.
I guess I want to know aside from the Torah, do they believe the Prophets are inspired Word of God?
You'd think after 2,000 years Christians would be bored of this.

The 5 books of Moses were not written by Moses, I think.The Hebrew written bible includes the 5 books of Moses, the texts of the prophetic works and other writings.
