I hit my goal of walking 10 miles in a single day today.
I must just absolutely suck at picking shoes because my feet are sore and blistered.

Cold...hot....walking hurts
Well that's no good. We can't be having two hot/cold/sit/stand/walk/run/it hurts running here.
You better be hooking me up with a Hollywood Montage if you want my poker earnings when you retire. Then you'll be able to retire with Skywalker legs. I assume we have them by then. We probably won't. But just in case we do you providing this Hollywood Montage will ensure I become the best ever as well ensuring you can afford Skywalker legs. Just in case we do have them by then. We'll hope because I'll get me some too.

10 miles? If you did not have special hiking shoes/boots and even if you did, I'm not surprised.

And in my mind, it really wasn't much. One way to CVS for my shot I do more for pleasure. I got plenty of rest there because somehow they didn't have my name on the schedule (I'm telling you, it's personal between Patrick and me), and I was off my feet for nearly an hour. And then hours later about a mile to and mile back to the store. That only took my about 50 minutes.
Back in Indiana, I'd do four mile walks for pleasure, often times twice a day. And my feet were fine. But it seems like I up it any from there and my feet aren't happy.

Crows in California. (Or were they blackbirds?)

You're in trouble now. You've exposed our secret corvid training camp where they're learning how to take a reign of terror to red states and herd all Trump supporters into reeducation camps where they will reform their thinking or be pecked and dive bombed incessantly.

It's been nice knowing you.

They tried to get me, but I got away.

I also have some natural allies to help protect against birds.

There's at least four and twenty...

I was out for a walk when day, on a nice sunny afternoon in (REAL) upstate NY when I saw a baseball field backstop with what appeared to be 550 or more crows. I also saw this HUGE crow in the middle, never saw a crow that big in my life. As I got closer I realized it was not a crow...it was a vulture.....they apparently lie hanging out together....that or the Vulture was just waiting for one of them to die.
