Been some fairly stupid acts reported on the news of late.... Some of which ended very badly and leaves me feeling sorry for those folks...other which ended badly for the perpetrator...but I am not feeling so sorry for them..... but all these acts had to be based on a decision and they always leave me with the this thought..... at what point in their day did they actually think..."HEY!!!! this is a great idea".... the latest is a music teacher who had a party for an ex-student.... at the school..... with children as young as 11 attending....... and this teacher made the decision that using penis candles and giving out candy vaginas was a great idea..... as well as giving the ex-student a penis theamed present....oh and of curse the oft fake penis in the room as things to play with......they lost their job by the way...... but this is the type of thing that leaves me wondering...at what point...did they think...you know having minors come to my penis and Vagina themed party...for my ex-student...and having it at the school..... is a GREAT idea....... Then of course there were the folks who decided that going hiking in terrorist areas of the middle east...while the misses was pregnant...was a good idea too..... I feel terrible about what those folks went through....but at some point they made the decision, albeit a rather bad one, that hiking in the middle east...with wars and terrorists all around....was a good idea.
There are actually some places in the Middle East I'd like to see, but because of all that and some other reasons, seeing the pyramids and Sphinx on Google Earth and virtual tours will just have to do.

Changed plans to go to Europe because it was right after they blew up an airport and did a few other things in Europe

Mrs Revolt asked if I wanted to visit Ireland in March.
Drive to Toronto, & then fly all nite...awake the whole time?
Daughter will go with her instead.
I'll stay here & annoy y'all.

I'm not actually sure you can...or could have ever, seen her in real life at all..... other than a statue or figurine

Even then...still better than squid face that @Revoltingest seems to be so enamored with

It's one thing to see her. It's quite something else to recognize who you are seeing.

My sister's high school German class was supposed to go on a field trip to Germany. And then the Wall came down. Quite understandably, that field trip was canceled.

Too bad. I wish I had been there for the supreme optimism that we had reached "the end of history" as Jesus Jones sang. It was a wonderful event.
