I noticed signs when I was in California warning people to stay away from bears. They are very cute and adorable, I must admit, but how dumb must one be to need a sign telling them to stay away from an animal who can instantly go from 800 pounds of fluffy adorableness into a raging 800 pound killing machine?

I believe the park service had to make signs to tell people to stop taking selfies with bears...because a lot of people were seeing a bear and then getting real close to take a selfie....that is how dumb people can be

Came across a group that is promoting nature, environment and ecology... and I think this is great....but I think they may have picked the wrong name.....close to a..."You keep using that word....I do not think it means what you think it means" kind of thing

It should be asked: Is there a point where we should just let the "Darwin award" effect happen anyways? Seriously. How in the hell can someone be dumb enough to think it's a good and safe idea to get close to a bear? I've seen stupid, taking a selfie with a bear definitely is an area that is "above and beyond" stupidity.

I have decided that today is not a good day to cut grass. Trouble is, I will also say the same thing tomorrow and future days. My grass will never get cut!
Why that video could not play here so I had to go to Youtube makes no sense.
But we had a cat who was chased up a tree by a dog whereupon he turned around and came down out of the tree and chased the dog out of our yard. Cats are feisty beasties.

I wish there were things to go do around here. But anymore there isn't even a comic book/gaming store to go play MTG at. One "friend," she never really responds or replies or talks to me despite me efforts to communicate with her. My ex, even though I've heard some say she asks about me a lot, and I want to try to be friends with her, she doesn't really talk back to me either. My larping friend, asides from living 20 miles away, it's getting harder to view her as a friend the way she ignores/doesn't pay attention to the messages I send her. And 'tis the season for me to start avoiding malls and most stores like the plague for the next couple months (if it's not having to dodge people who aren't paying attention to what's going around them, it's a general feeling of disgust how a time of family has become a time of buying mountains of junk seeing all the extra stock of junk and all the temporary junk selling vendors that pop up).
At times I wonder which is worse for my depression: having a major depressive disorder, or that there is nothing to go do when I do feel like going to do something (as I don't do bars, strip clubs, or church)?

You do appear to some here as being square.
Just finished mowing...we hope for the last time until March or April...if the weather remains cool and moist, however, grass will continue to flourish for many more weeks...
