A couple weeks ago I got an email saying I had to correct a note because I didn't bill it for the right way with this guys treatment whateverthingymabober it is, and I emailed the mentor who has to cosign on my notes until I'm getting them all right, asked her then since I couldn't bill for what I was doing then how do I use up those units that have to be used up so they don't lose their insurance, and today I get an email saying I'm doing an awesome job at getting these units used.
Literally, I have no idea what I did, I don't know how I did it or even when, but apparently I did it very well.

Nuh-uh. The emails said blessed be me! For doing what I know not. In my experiences, the gods have usually made it known to me when I please them. This faceless one just said "good job," and I said "duuurpp......"
I don't think I've ever pretended so much, done so much faking and acting, and made up so much of everything as I go along as I have with this job. I'm very much a "Wizard of Oz" who puts on a calm and collected demeanor and seems to know what's going on, but behind the current I'm an anxious wreck asking myself "what the **** do I do now?" If I was this ignorant about electricity when I started to get into computers and electronics, I would've have extensive nerve damage from tons of shocks. But here I get "good job."

When you receive a scary notice its often just part of a process in case you every do anything wrong, so that they can more quickly adjudicate against you. "This is like your 5th warning!" It may also be a phishing attempt or something to keep you on your toes. For example I once got a scary notice about stealing cable. I lived in an apartment wired for cable but was not using it. I once was a day or two late on rent and got an eviction notice. Guilty people react to a perceived discovery of their deeds, and this is often the tip off to investigate them further. The police will accuse sometimes with no reason for doing so. "I know what you did. Confess and it will go easier for you."

When deducting a donation of property, if it's over $20K in
value, you need an appraiser with ISA CAPP certification.
