Who said anything about work? Today I get to sit with a kid who may or may not participate with what I give him to work on, I'll deliver some meds to another client so he can work on prescription compliance, go to another so I can set him up to get his medications through the the pharmacy that is affiliated with my place of employment, and then I'll go to another client so he can work on filling out job applications online and work on understanding he can't focus on the obnoxious behaviors of others. And depending on time, go to another client so he can work on not obsessing over visions of doomsday.
The golden rule where I am employed is "don't work harder than your client." And I don't. And since the Wonderbread boys aren't with me I don't have to worry about their obnoxiousicity.

Wow....just wow.... here is something I know...and I knew it before I wadded into this debacle....never...EVER...question the views of any who worship at the temple of Linux or Mac...no matter how ridiculous or silly the things they say may be.......best to just smile...walk away...and do what you were going to do.... so why did I try and tell a Linux worshipper how wrong they are and how much their input was not requested, appreciated or for that matter realistic in an enterprise situation...and add to that...IT ISN'T THIER FREAKING JOB!!!!!

I cannot tell you how hard it was to not just say....SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE!!!

Linux is the OS from which all true blessings flow. I'll leave grubbing in the depths of the sewer which is Windows to others unless forced by circumstances to descend.

Damn today was a harsh day. The four year old behaved great. Then I had a cancellation, so I went and visited with a "see him any time" client who for some reason gives me anxiety. And then instead of filling out job apps, with that client I played mediator in the middle of a family argument. Doomsday guy wasn't on my schedule, and though I was going to go spend some time with him I ended up not because my capacity for being social is now ground off worse than the brake pads I just changed.

Macs are superior because they have Unix under the hood. But you have to put up with "We can charge more because we're Apple" and "we know what's best for you to install" arrogance.

I have a client who has a mini air raid siren from some car or whatnot for a doorbell. I might get a wee too much pleasure out of using it if he doesn't answer his door when I'm scheduled to show up and he isn't coming to the door after I knock.

I moved a mountain yesterday and today. For several snowstorms, the plow gradually blocked the Prius in the garage. I have so far dug enough snow to drive it out, but then there is the problem of making it move over the rest of the snow. The little bits that are left. It is fussy.
