Looks like it to me, the supermarkets have been stockpiling food just in case. The idea of a no deal has seen the value of the pound slump to its lowest level on record. And it hasn't come to that yet.

it strikes me that crash-out BREXIT is just like Trump's "easy to win" (HAH) trade wars - a looming disaster But I'm sure that those in favor will blame everyone but themselves if that happens.

Well, I suppose at least I'll have an engine with 100,000 fewer miles for my car as I drive more than a fleet of truckers combined to make the money back this debacle has caused.
My car also may have to remain hidden, as the dealership has not returned any of my calls regarding my car payment, which bank holds the loan, and how to make my payments.

The last issue I faced was basically, "I bought this Pentium Windows 10 PC, fresh install, and it lags even on Wordpad. How do I fix it?"

Pentium. That seems a very old/slow hardware beast.

True. I mean I'm not going to lie, the system DID lag a bit on Wordpad. Yet I suspect if it ran full Linux, it could still operate a word program well.

Linux is much more efficient than Windows 10. I've run Linux on systems that could not even install Windows.

My ride called. 2 - 2 1/2 hours away. I can't wait to get home. I have me since welcome home goodies waiting for me, but those may have to wait till tomorrow.
