I wonder if Invisible Monsters Remix works that well on ereaders? I finished Invisible Monsters today, and it's the first book I've ever finished that I immediately wanted to read again.

I think one of my academic contributions will be stating that those born in the mid 80's, because we didn't have computers, didn't have cell phones, had to wait on stuff, and learned how to do research in a library during high school, along with being old enough to remember the fall of the Berlin Wall, being above of the reading age demograph of Harry Potter when it came out, and because very few people had the internet while we were kids, we are not generation y/millennials/digital natives. How is it the mid 80's kids can be millennial for coming of age around the turn of the millennium, when those born in the mid 70's came of age a few years before, while those of the mid 80's were a few years after? What I do remember though was alot of "Generation Next" signs at church when I was going to youth group meetings, and there was the wrestling stable "Degeneration X."

I'm telling on myself. I remember getting a Commodore 64 brand new.

I'm watching the Family Guy episode "And then there were fewer." It's pretty cool, if only because I instantly recognized the setting because I was in a high school production of "And Then There Where None."

I'm watching the Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror marathon on FXX.
I like the episode wherein Maggie turns out to be the daughter of Marge & Kang.
Then they resolve their differences on The Jerry Springer Show.

Apparently alot of people think Invisible Monsters (which I couldn't help myself and I am rereading it) is transphobic. Personally, I didn't see it, but I did notice many of these complaints fail to mention there are two transsexual characters in it, not just Brandy. But anyways, it's an awesome book.

I missed the university bus the other day, so I stopped a cab and told the driver the name of the street I wanted to go to. He said, "Oh, there is a middle school in that place. You want to go there, right?"

That was almost as embarrassing as it was awkward. :p

See, I always seemed to have the opposite affect when I was younger. I was taken to be older. Like I was taken to be out of high school already when I was a Freshman or a Sophomore. I was hardly ever carded for alcohol or cigarettes. I could walk into a bar at 18 and get served without issue. Only in my twenties would I start getting carded strangely enough.

It was because of all the work you had done on the Twins.

How you doin'?

Work on the twins? Who needed work? I was a C-cup at 13, burgeoning into a D by 14, and I had a nice waist and hips. If I recall, my teen measurements were around 42-26-36. Shoot, I'd go to school my Freshman year wearing halter tops and spandex mini skirts...that my mother and aunt bought me. :p
