My right foot has been very sore for a week. It has gotten to the point where I can barely walk without having to stop because of pain.

Time for a visit to an orthopedist. I need to walk quite a bit almost daily, so this is going to be a very problematic injury if it's not treated.

When I was in boot camp one of the women in my company actually broke a small bone in her foot and didn't know it. She just kept marching on and running through the pain without complaint for nearly all the way through until I think she either fell or the swelling was noticed. Not sure what it was that finally brought the injury to the attention of our CC. But once it was found out she was sent to medical and that's when it was noted that there was a broken bone the whole time. Tough damn lady. Running boot camp, marching in boots and all, with a broken foot.

I went to school because I had to use a math program on the computers to take a quiz sort of thing, and though it's only 3 questions long I barely got into half of the second problem. Damn statistics. Lies, damn lies, and statistics, the one constant truth of statistics that is for certain, and this class does not cover at all why you have to be careful when interpreting statistics. Just more grinding everyone up and expecting them to have the same mentality with it all.

I sympathize. My lower back has been acting up during the past week. It got really bad last night, I couldn't even stand up once I was laying down.

Night time trip to the bathroom? Super Hard.

My daughter went to bed saying she didn't feel well and wanted her temperature taken. She felt fine but I took it anyway, normal 98.6 on the nose. It is now 4am, she is next to me in my bed with a 102.2 fever. Gave her one med, waited, nothing, given her another and currently waiting to check again for any sign of it lowering because not going back to sleep myself until it is backsliding pretty good. Looks like a fun time for me.

Under 100 and she's shuffling back off to her bed to sleep with her dollies. We'll see what the morning brings ;)

I almost went to see it, but I did something else instead.

I wanted to see The Equalizer, but they yanked it from the theater already. Even Roepert gave it 3 stars, and three stars are fairly good for an action film. (To get four stars a film has to be unique, and action films just aren't.)

My foot really hurts when I try to move my toes, but I don't feel much pain when it is immobilized. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that I had a fracture or a pinched nerve there.
