It's rational to pay attention to that.

Those who have been consumed by fear and worry will seize on any story that fits with their emotional state to reinforce how they feel. Hence my comment earlier in the thread.

By the way get your wife to play the game Deus Ex. Its the mother of all conspiracy theories and a fun game. Don't install it from Steam, because the steam version has lighting problems on a lot of systems. Its very, dark, so dark because it written for Windows 95 and doesn't run right on Windows 10 unless you can crank up the contrast.
