We had a thunderstorm come barreling through with 70 mph winds, took down trees ann limbs, knocked power out all over the place, and made it hard to get home, but it did not last more than about 20 minutes.

My settling down in an English speaking country, if I get that far, I'm still figuring out. Until then, Germany hires them, Japan hires them, and apparently its the new American Dream to get hired by China. Ireland is one I am trying to figure out though, as I would like to visit where Im from amd check it out, as much like Canada the need for English is likely far and significantly lower I assume. But case managers are in demand in Canada last I knew, and I assume they still are and in other places as well. Or whatever. Leaving is happening and I have the ability and means once I have the money and dont get held up somewhere due to mismatched documents (it occasionally happens to trans people, and me having been squeezed out in Missouri adds another layer of complication).
My actual time frame goal is for today to be my last ballot cast for US president.

It has consistently repelled me further away the more years I add on. Getting out of Indiana was great and I thought I'd be happy staying, but covid has made it undeniable how crappy America really is.

I wanted to expand on a conversation with ShadowWolf last night by saying - I do see the PS5 and new XBox as definitely cool, but they're a cash grab that start out at near PC prices, and become more expensive than a PC after the $70 games, online subscription, etc.
