I was in a discussion about forum dynamics, I guess, and how this time it's rather quite different because lives are at stake. It's very limited as to what we can do to limit military ventures into wherever there are brown or black people Uncle Sam decides to bomb and steal from. Made more frustrating that despite the politcal everything that has ever happened in America, this sort of military/economic repression has been going on since day 1 (Rev may reject the Military-Industry complex is going on today, but troops in Afghanistan had an easier time getting Children of Bodom CDs than I did being here in America, courtesy of Jr's "bringing democracy" to the region and "fighting terrorism").
But this election we really do have a significant chance to protect lives here, and protect them now. People can go on about how the bad the Biden Normal is, and it is, I won't deny it, but right now things are much bigger than that. Trump wins and I fear Covid may have just teased us and will be become a fully-fledged raider of American soils. Biden wins, and we can start to get serious about covid. It's bigger than the Supreme Court, it's bigger than Congress, it's bigger than redistricting. If Trump gets his way, Covid will kill more than many extensively and heavily regulated killers such as tobacco.

Bands like Slipknot are part of the reason why I say after those born between the mid 70 and 80s grew up, kids after us were much more chill, mellow, far less anxty, and by default basically way less "**** you" than we were.
