I switched lotions and creams, and my skin is saying it's well worth spending the extra money. It's also a win for not listening to mom (she insists all the cheap crap works just fine).

@Revoltingest indirectly reminded me recently I was one of the mean girls.
Im not even sure the cheep crap works at all. I know some brands i would never use again, rashes, swellings, itches, red blotches. Cheapest I've found that actually does good is Olay and its not really cheap.

This afternoon i went to the dentist for a checkup. I rarely have tooth problems, three cavities and one cracked eating a walnut and that's 40 some years of tooth use.
So today mr dentist had a good look and prod about then took x-rays. I have a cavity, he couldn't see it because its in between two molars. Not only can't he see it, he can't get to it to fill.
He was surprised i was not in pain and guaranteed that i would be soon. He gave me the choice, now or when the pain starts.
I think I've had enough pain for at least 5 lifetimes so no more if i can help it, do it now.
Can't fix the cavity without removing a tooth to get to it, the only other alternative, remove the nerve, cavity remains and will get worse over time but (the magic but) no pain.
So after drilling down to my boots, pulling the nerve, job done.

My toddler got mad that her poop came out in two pieces instead of one. She accused my husband of cutting it while she wasn't looking. (she has a future as a conspiracy theorist)
When my daughter was three, I told her to stop trying to draw on the dog with crayons. She threw the crayon on the floor, looked me dead in the eye and yelled, "Daddy, you're ruining my life!"
After a couple slices of pizza, 3 year old bursts into tears and says:
