I have found that even green tea has aftereffects. Its nice for an hour or so, but then comes a period of excessive hunger, possibly anxiety and irritability. Its not as strong as with coffee but still there.

That's why I drink a pot of coffee every morning, then another pot in the afternoon - and then another in the evening.

Yeah. I'm not saying I've given it up forever, but I know the cost now. Speaking of cost it takes a whole lot of decaff to make decaff taste nice. It takes me five heaping spoonfuls of folgiers medium decaff to make a nice tasting mug of coffee. Five heaping spoons. I went through a canister practically overnight, but I could say I had switched to decaff.

"Be strong", I whispered to my coffee.

As long as I can avoid flying, they may charge as much as they like.
If God had intended me to fly, he'd have given me ailerons.
Oh, and wings to put them on.

Pre covid i used ryanair regularly, prices were, shall we say, random. I could fly from Bergerac to Liverpool for less than £20 another time it could be close on £200. Journey times approx
To Bergerac 1hour
Check in 1hour
Flight 1hour 30
Liverpool to destination 1 hour

Similar by the big boys included a change at Amsterdam or Paris and cost upwards of £500, Journey times
To Toulouse 2 hours
Check in 2hours
Flight 1hour + 7 hours hanging around + 1 hour
Manchester to destination 1 hour 40 mins

There are still ways of flying to one's destination while avoiding the airlines.

I finally found a Thai restaurant which offers inauthentic Thai food The only things on the menu are kippers, waffles, haggis, gefiltefisch, and reindeer ice cream Sorry to be picky, but I want to find a Thai place that is a bit less inauthenic than this
