One perk of self employment is it's very easy to shorten my gap in employment. Officially I've been struggling to find work for several months now. But according to my resume the unemployment thing is always a very new development.

I can say reading Dawkins has convinced me we are the results of more than just evolution and natural selection. The Laws of Nature may be unyielding and be consistent, but we are not. There's just too much of us, such as our psychology, that makes such a rigid Darwinian approach that Dawkins favors fall apart when we add in we are not logical, rational, consistent, wise, or even very efficient if merely passing on genes is the goal and objective.

New user....who is awful dang important.... or at least he thinks he is... does not want to follow encryption and password policies.... wants them changed to suite him..... does not like the laptop he was given...demanding a rather high powered laptop to do his, incredibly important, job...also telling us he has to have 2 additional monitors to connect to his new super laptop, so he can work from home....... also was rather indignant this morning yelling at one of the help desk staff.

Wish I could say this was uncommon...but a lot of the newer staff seems to feel they deserve a lot and they are so dang important we need to jump when they "tell" us what they "ARE" going to get........

I just kicked this one up a level.... I'm tired of him.... at this point, if it were up to me.... I would be more than happy to recommend dismissal.... and a good ole fashion Hank Williams Jr. attitude adjustment
