After many trials and errors of blowing snow in my window screens, and splashing myself with snow, I'm beginning to learn how to use a snow blower properly.

WHAT!!! Heck babies in the Adirondacks know how to run snowblowers!!!....:Ok, that may be a slight bit of an exaggeration.....

I lived in upstate NY as a kid, and it was before snowblowers were in widespread use. We didn't have one. We had to shovel snow barefoot in the snow - with a soup spoon.

I too lived in upstate NY. In my day we had a fire-breathing dragon that melted snow for us. It worked cheap - only 2 or 3 humans as a sacrifice to its hunger were needed.
