I'm in the doghouse.

Usually the twins go to college in their car but this morning daughters class was cancelled so son took the car and i took daughter later on.

A red squirrel ran into the road. I had no way to avoid it but aimed so it would go between the wheels. Just before i was to drive over it the dam thing changed it's mind, jumped and ran back the way it came.

The thump thump was the sign that there was a flat squirrel.

Daughter is not talking to me.

Florida sheriff: Burglars call 911 to get help moving stuff | AP News

While talking to deputies, the female suspect told them that she had called 911 for the purpose of having law enforcement help them move their belongings from the house they were burglarizing. They also wanted to get a ride to the airport so they could spend the weekend in New York, the sheriff’s office said.

"Deputies DID help them with their belongings, and DID give them a ride, but it wasn’t to the airport … it was to the Polk Pokey,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. “And they are welcome to stay there all weekend long. The Polk Pokey is much better than New York anyway.”

The Polk County Jail is better than New York, according to the sheriff. I would imagine it's probably better than Riker's Island.

Who calls 911 to get help to have stuff moved and get a ride to the airport? Why not just have them deliver a pizza while they're at it?
