Today it didn't get to 10 before I someone greatly irritated me. Suddenly change lanes mid-turn, cut me off, make me hit the brakes and honk and you want to flip me off and cuss me out?
Seriously, going down the road this wanker was matching my speed in the lane next to me amd trying to yell at me, while my window was up. Which started to ignite the rarely seen "crazier than thou" side of me, but it was a dud of an explosion because, oh yeah, we're going down the road and even if my window was down I wouldn't be able to hear him. But I'm sure he knows what a laugh looks like and understands the sign language used. But, then again, he's clearly an idiot with a worse temper than me, so I'm not too sure about that.

Charging e-bike batteries cause two fires in one night at Arizona home (kgun9.com)

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KNXV) — After two fires at the same Valley home in one night, fire officials are sounding the alarm about the dangers of lithium batteries, which are common in many households.

Glendale Fire Department says a family experienced the fires late Tuesday night while charging three e-bike batteries in their garage.

One of the batteries reportedly exploded and caught fire, forcing emergency crews to come to the home. Hours later, while investigators were on the scene after removing the two other bikes, a second battery caught fire. Fortunately, the investigator was able to quickly extinguish the flames.

Seven people in the home were displaced due to the fire, and no one was injured.

Braxton Horejs works at Bicycle Depot of Arizona and says electric-assisted bikes are extremely popular with customers.

"They're a ton of fun, great bikes to really get you outside," he said.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), "In February 2018, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Status Report on High Energy Density Batteries Project reported over 25,000 overheating or fire incidents involving more than 400 types of lithium battery-powered consumer products that occurred over a five-year period."

I've never used those e-bikes. The last time I was on a bicycle, I had to pedal it. It's actually pretty good exercise.

I don't know if these things are just unsafe, or if people just aren't using it the way they're supposed to. Maybe they should have some kind of fail-safe or warning bell if the thing is about to overheat.

We're having a wee bit of drizzle. Procrastinating about pulling weeds has paid off (for now) (and yes I know the weeds are in rapid production of offensive weapons).

From everything I have gathered it's both. Some products have been legit dangerous. Sometimes it's someone making their own device (such as an e-cigarette) or tampering with a store-bought one.
But I still want one of those bikes. Riding them has always been difficult for me, with getting them going being a struggle. But if I can have a throttle to get it going so I don't have to worry about doing that and balancing it I can take care of the rest (except I kick my legs out like I'm on a motorcycle when coming to a stop, again because it's a balancing issue).

Poor TV Uhtred. He's smaller, not as well armored, not as good of a fighter and he seems to stumble around a lot and put up with things Book Uhtred will not suffer, and he's pretty crappy towards the Danes he calls friends and family. TV doesn't even have his warrior son, Uhtred, who is a lot like his dad. And while it sucks for Book Uhtred he got stabbed in a lung, TV probably wouldn't have survived that gruesome fight with Cnut, which he didn't even really have. Probably because Cnut is way better than TV Uhtred.
And I saw a picture of the actor who plays Cnut. He really needs the long hair and a beard, lol.

One Dead In Massive 40+ Vehicle Crash, Pileup Between Elk Mountain And Laramie, Wyoming - Cowboy State Daily

Forty-four semi-trucks and cars were involved in two separate crashes on Saturday afternoon near the Wagonhound rest area between Elk Mountain and Laramie on Interstate 80.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol announced late Saturday that one person was killed and other injuries were sustained. One accident happened at westbound mile marker 261 and the other at westbound mile marker 266.

No other information about the fatality or the injuries was released.

Carbon County Public Safety dispatch said firefighters were on the scene working to clean-up fuel spills at mile markers 266, 265, and 261.

Photos shared on social media showed the semis piled-up and strewn about the interstate while dozens more lined-up behind them.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation reported that the crashes began around 1:30pm at mile marker 266 on Interstate 80 westbound.

“The large scale event will take the Wyoming Highway Patrol hours to investigate and the road will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time,” WYDOT said in a statement.

I guess they've been pummeled with snow.

It's been warm and sunny here.

Watch: Reptile wrangler removes snake from toilet at Australian home - UPI.com

"They went to use the bathroom and found it when they lifted the toilet seat," Godfrey told Newsweek. "I'd assume they were quite surprised."

A video posted to the snake catching business' YouTube channel shows Airey removing the 4-foot common tree snake from the commode. Godfrey said the snake is not a dangerous species.

"They are very inquisitive and friendly towards people," Godfrey said.

I guess that would be a bit of a surprise, to find an inquisitive and friendly snake in one's toilet. I wouldn't want to get that friendly though.

I'm certain I could utter blasphemies that would fire up some opinions. But I'd feel horrible saying them and have to chop of my hands for offending the clergy of the one, true religion, Rock 'n Roll.
