Fall bird migration is underway. For about the last hour, I've been watching a mixed flock, including robins, assorted warblers, some sparrowlike things I haven't been able to get a good look at, cedar waxwings, a chipmunk, a couple of finches, a red squirrel, and some flickers flitting about and feeding on bugs and seeds in the trees outside my windows.

I would genuinely love to see the guy I watched yelling profanity at a homeless woman this morning go through one hungry day.

I searched for the image of a "gay bear".
Bing suggested turning off the propriety filter!
But I did find this family friendly image.....
th

Cute couple (despite the PDA)!

You would have a better chance of finding a Gay Scotsman

Good morning everyone. It's a wonderful fall morning with the sun shining and slurry seal being applied to the streets around me. What more could one ask for?

We haven't had a Star Trek talk in awhile. So I'll say I'm watching In the Pale Moonlight to test the Netflix streaming on the Dish Joey.
DS9 isn't my favorite ST series, but this is just a damn good episode. I just really wish there would have been more when the Federation reclaimed DS9.

I remember when I was a kid the term "couch potato" was more of an insult and something you definitely did not want to be, because it meant you were lazy and spent too much time in front of the TV. Now, according to ATT/DirecTV, it's ok to be a couch potato and you should go ahead and be a "train potato."

In the Pale Moonlight is generally praised both for plot and acting.

Morning? Damn. It's just a few minutes past 1 AM here. Isn't it just abit past 10 PM right now in Cali?

Having Avery Brooks makes the acting a given. The plot though is what made the episode one of the best ST episodes. I think it's safe to say it would have made Gene Roddenberry proud.

I left my car stalling for like a month and when I started it for the first since then, I found the A/C refrigerant all gone. When I first stored the car the A/C was working just find with full refrigerant on it. If it means anything, I found the battery dead and unchangeable so I replaced it. I'm not sure if there is a refrigerant pressure relief valve in my car (is it an A/C standard?). I checked for leak and found none or at least unnoticeable for 15 minutes. The refrigerant refill lasted two days now and the cooling is normal. I haven't checked its level, but I think if there was a leak, the cooling would have had an impact after two days of the refill (?).

Any idea what could it be?

Your problem is that you have a car instead of a truck.
(Cars are for metrosexuals. Babes love guys in manly trucks.)
