There is a way I keep my face book...locked down and not allowing anyone access....I am not the social....... Besides it was only made for IT security research.....

It's the modern lazy way to keep up with old friends and distant family, so I enjoy seeing my niece's achievements in over 50 weight-lifting competition and my childhood best friend's children and grandchildren, etc. And sadly, to hear of deaths and funeral announcements.

Yup. I am honoring my ancestors as I celebrate driving evil from here for being stubborn Celts who passed that down to me.
Did I follow rules? Did I do what was asked of me? No, I lived my values and was intolerant towards intolerance and didn't symbolically block the message but rather held up what was essentially a rainbow censor bar.

Yeah. I am fond of my online friends, but we can't hang out, we can't look each other in the eyes, we can't really be there to share in the highs or lend them a shoulder to cry in during their lows. There is so much missing that I'm puzzled over how anyone considers a digital penpal a regular friend.

Yeah. I am fond of my online friends, but we can't hang out, we can't look each other in the eyes, we can't really be there to share in the highs or lend them a shoulder to cry in during their lows. There is so much missing that I'm puzzled over how anyone considers a digital penpal a regular friend.

BUT, I actually "share" more with my online friends. I think many of us do. In some ways it's more genuine. Both are beneficial types of relationships when cherished for what they truly are.
