Happy belated birthday Ares. I hope you had a good day.

He was kind of whiney all day.

He gets whiney when Sam is around. I don't think its anything Sam is doing, so not sure how to combat that.

Based on his behavior, I think he thinks that if he just whines and carries on enough, Sam will buy him a new car/house/provide him with millions. He doesn't do that with me because I'm a stubborn jerk. Dad is more fun.

The plants are totally confused.
Last week they thought it was late spring, roses budding and in bloom. Strawberry plants bursting into flower etc.
This week we've had 4 nights below freezing and the plants look very sad

Our neighboring lilac bush was confused this year... it was both going dormant and flowering at the same time.

Yesterday was Ares's birthday.

Sadly, still up to me... Ares seems to only respond to disciplinary measures from Mom.

Though, Sam has to deal with LeeAnder, because its the opposite there.

I still am not entirely sure why Ares thinks his dad is going to provide the things he's asking for... Its not like he ever slipped up and bought him a condo in Florida(the kinds of things he asks for).

This morning, he showed me a 19 million dollar house in Canada he wanted. I agreed it was a nice place, and advised he get a good job. He went off, talking about being an engineer.

It it was Sam, he would have gotten belligerent about it and refused to consider employment, insisting he buy it NOW!

I will say one thing I appreciate about AI is the ability to get me recipes beyond what the internet had before AI was a thing.

Folks....due to a disagreement with the powers that be.... that became the straw that broke the camels back..... I see no real reason to continue posting here on RF..... can't say I will never be back....but that is the plan...... but addictions are hard to beat...time will tell......
