Hubbie on roof with no life insurance!

I'll never get life insurance. My grandma had life insurance on me when I was younger. But once I turned 18 it didn't count anymore. Apparently grandparents can profit from the death of their grandchildren. She didn't even ask my mom or dad either. I didn't really understand why she would do that... It makes me hate her a little bit more.

What kind of horrible woman would hope to get insurance money in the event of the death of her grandchild? We didn't live with her or anything. There would be no financial strain on her in the event of my death. My parents would have paid for my funeral. Oh man... I really hate her.

So it wasn't to save your parents the cost of a funeral? That's one of the big reasons to get life insurance for kids.

The other possibility is that she used it as an investment. I don't know that much about using life insurance as an investment, but many policies will have a cash value that will go up or down (hopefully up). If that's the case, you wouldn't have to die for her to cash in the policy.

From what I read, insurance usually isn't a very good investment, but some people get sold on insurance agents' sales pitches; it's also treated differently than other investments for tax purposes which makes it attractive to some people, apparently.

I doubt she would pay for my funeral. I don't think she paid anything for her own son's funeral. My mom paid for all of it as far as I know. My grandma bought some flowers, but then took them all off his grave the next day. My mom and I thought that was odd. When you buy funeral flowers, you're buying them for the dead person, right? Not for yourself... She doesn't seem to understand that.

I think she might actually be insane. When she gets medical insurance, she makes up symptoms so she can use as much insurance as she can to get free tests...

Anyway... I should probably stop saying mean things about her. I wouldn't want someone pointing out all of my flaws.

I'm going to go re-locate my car. After 5:00 I can park anywhere I want. This way, I can park right next to the art building and won't have to walk as far in the night time and have a lesser risk of being attacked by someone in the scary loney night streets. I better hurry. The sun is setting. Adios.

In P.E. in high school we had to lift weights. It was stupid. I just lifted the bar without any weights on it, and even that was really heavy.

Thats pretty much how I feel about any exercise done for the sake of exercising. When I played sports competitively I felt it was neccesary to train my body to excel. Now that I type on computers for a living what's the point? Vanity? Fitness I guess to some degree would be a valid answer. Health in general. But then wouldnt that just mean I am eating too much... maybe I should just eat less and not exercise. All studies of longevity show that starving creatures live longer. ;)
