You can't just print things up and pretent it's a cheque book you know :facepalm:
A friend of mine once tried to convince me that anything with all the requisite items for a cheque (amount, date, signature, etc.) would be considered a valid cheque and would have to be honoured by a bank. This was all part of his attempt to get me to help him fulfil his goal of cashing a cheque written on a watermelon.

Not here; in Canada we use cheques.
I have a shirt with checks. I sometimes wear it when I'm writing cheques.

I only write checks if I'm paying a bill through the mail. Otherwise I use my debit card. :D Or cash. Or pay online, which is scary... because it's online... but whatever... It's life. You've got to pay for stuff online sometimes.

It is with great reluctance and a heavy heart when I announce that after 30 years I will no longer be collecting comic books. I have cancelled all arrangements with my local comic book store effective Jan 1, 2010.

And if you aren't going to read the serials, what about limited edition graphic novels?
