Business or pleasure?

Business. She hates japanese people (Another part of my mother I don't like, her generalizations about black people, middle easterners, japanese people, chinese people, mexicans, and anybody from Australia, or anybody who is homeless, etc..)

And she is apparently waiting for them to finish shopping before they get back onto their plane and depart. But regardless, I don't care. Im a meritocratic person.

Well, at least she didn't abandon you for no reason.

I think a lot of racism and prejudice stems from ignorance. My mom used to be pretty racist sometimes, but she is really getting better about it since my sister started dating an Indian guy. She realized that my sister's boyfriend is actually a really nice person and that her assumptions about entire races were actually quite wrong. My dad was really racist too. I like to think he would have gotten over that when he met my sister's boyfriend, but I'll never know. My mom says he would have gotten over it, but I think she just wants to think he would have. There's no telling for sure what would have happened.

That sounds lovely.

little brown disklike beans.

I don't care for beans. Green beans are okay sometimes, but I'd prefer peas. Sugar Snap peas, in terryaki chicken with mushrooms, or in a salad. I love sugar snap peas. One time we grew them in our garden, and the plants grew so many of them. It was a great summer. :danana:

None of us have actually met him yet, because immigration is a *****. But we've talked to him on sykpe and a webcam/MSN. I think he's a lot like me, and I like to think that's why my sister likes him, since she and I are best friends. If she likes him because he's similar to me, that's a compliment, I think.

I think my mom is in love with Tom Selleck. I made her make a x-mas list for me so I can buy her things she wants, and there's a lot of Tom Selleck movies on there... O_O
