Today is not the "8th day of Christmas". The twelve days of Christmas don't end with Christmas, they start with Christmas.

Epiphany, people. Look it up.

well, honestly, if you ask me, it makes more sense to start before christmas actually starts. cause who wants to still be celebrating christmas in january? and not only is it just who wants to, who actually is? i'd say dang near no one.

But there's already a name for the period before Christmas: Advent.

Well, everybody who celebrates Epiphany probably wants to, but besides that, it's the convention: the "___th day" of whatever holiday or feast day begins with that holiday or feast day.

I thought it was the 12 days of christmas, and on the 12th day the decorations come down, DO YOU HEAR ME , 12TH DAY, not sometime in February!. then in Cork rather sexistly there is a party night called women's christmas where all the mammies go on the beer. Woohoo!

1. I love my bra. It is silky, pink, and has frillies on it. It's not very supportive, but my boobs are little anyway. I like it because it's pretty. My shirt is low cut enough to the point where I can see part of my pretty bra. It's okay though. I've been sitting at home at the house all day. My mom and sister don't care if they can see my bra.

2. Anyone can die at any time, unexpectedly. That is so scary.

3. I've got a hat with jingle bells on it. I love wearing silly hats. I've got a joker hat with jingle bells. I've got a pirate hat. And I've got a christmas elf hat with jingle bells on it. That's the one I'm wearing now. My older sister also bought me a winter hat with pom poms on it. It's pretty odd looking, but I love it. I mean, it's not too crazy looking, but I've never seen anyone else wear one like it...

4. Baggins got a bath last night. He smelled like a dirty puppy dog, because he was a dirty puppy dog. But he got a bath with my Dove shampoo. I usually use my mom's shampoo, because she buys cheap stuff, and I know Baggins won't mind. But I couldn't find hers, so I used mine, even though it's $3 or $4 per bottle. Baggins deserves good shampoo anyway.

5. My mom gave me an early x-mas present today. It is over-the-knee socks. I wanted those. I told her, and she found some for me. I'm so egscited, because I love really tall socks.

Why do they call it egg nog?

I know there are eggs in it, but it's not like there are other types of nog that you need to distinguish, are there? We don't say "egg omelette", so why do we say "egg nog"?
