sound's like hubby's type of squash. drowned in oil with the onions. it gets all broken up and runny. He uses 1/2 c of oil when he fries. I found I can get the same result with 2 T of oil

Got to try blacksmithing this weekend. I think it may be safe to say that I finally found the trade I've been looking for :) . Now I just have to find someone to apprentice under or learn at an artisan school.

A cold has been making its way through my family. Everyone seems to either be handling it well or have it pass over them pretty quickly except for my son. It's hit him like a 2x4. He gets coughing so hard I think he's going to throw up.

Just had a sudden and quick downpour here, with the sun shining through nearly the whole time. I opened my front door to watch the rain and there was a rainbow arching over my street and ending just a mere few yards away from me. It was fantastic. The rain pouring, the sun shining, and a rainbow ending in my front yard. Just awesome.
