I've run out of vodka so i've switched to rum (AND COKE)
Man. Since I quit the green I'm turning into an alcoholic.
Don't really dig rum but it's too late to go out and get vodka and the only other thing left in the cabinet is Madira wine. :p And beer is just a waste of time anymore.
Oh well, a buzz by any other name, I guess.

If it helps, I've switched from coffee to chocolate as my latest addiction sensation and fix? :shrug:

My birthday cake yesterday was sugar free yellow with sugar free vanilla frosting. My family sang "Happy Birthday" and we ate the cake with no sugar added butter pecan ice cream.

Argh, my step brother was supposed to help me move the couch that I let him borrow for the past year back to my house, but he failed to reply to my text that I could come by at 4pm because he was setting up a christmas tree with the family, now he's got a Saturday night church thing to go to and cant do it today. Then when he finally did reply he had the nerve to say he had been waiting all day.


Who the hell sets up christmas trees before thanksgiving anyway?


This makes me unrealistically irked.

Belated Happy Birthday, Christine!

My news is that I recently accepted a new job, back to research in molecular biology! I have been teaching for a while now, but this will be 'regular hours,' not as flexible as teaching, so big changes ahead!

I must say I'm pleased, and a bit anxious because of the changes this will mean for my family. :cover:
