Being rich is important. Ask any family sleeping in their car.

There's a difference between being being homeless and poverty stricken and having a mediocre income. I've been homeless before. Having an income is important in order to get by comfortably enough...but being rich isn't really all that important in the long run. It really isn't. It's nice. It may make some things easier. But it doesn't bring happiness nor make people better people just because they have money.

Speaking of sleeping in one's car....or in my case, in the back of my truck...it's really tiring to
drive with a misbehaving trailer, going to sleep at 1am, & getting up at 4:30am to drive again.

With a 10' diameter flywheel in the middle, it's a bad idea to put one of these on the very back.

About to have hundreds of babies of an unidentified type of spider in my kitchen unless I find someway to remove the two good-sized egg sacs and the momma from under my kitchen sink. She's made an impressive web under there. Spans quite a portion of my storage area. Now, I've been getting a bit better when it comes to spiders. At least I didn't jump and scream and hyperventilate or anything when I found her, but I still have no desire to reach in there and try to remove her.

I'm trying to decide if "The Fosdick Line of drills is the biggest in the world" is funny, or if I'm just immature.

Aim to be rich. Engineers and lawyers get to teach, plus they don't drive crappy cars. And don't think a three of four year old Chev will drive the girls wild. Beemers will.

I can't drive anyway :p

Also I plan to become a maths teacher (apparently they're in high demand) so it's close enough to engineering :p

Engineers are supposed to be rich? Could you tell that to my boss? :D

That's good advice in all sorts of situations. It's practically a proverb. :)

Awesesome!

But, VA is so true, which is why I love living here. You really can be in the center of a metro area and twenty minutes later be out in rural corn fields or the opposite direction - head to the ocean. Hampton Roads is awesome that way. :D

Speaking of yawning,

There seems to be a heavy drought, a deep lull, a terrible famine of interesting and substantial material around here as of late.

Its kind of depressing :sad4:

Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but (just in my opinion of course) the forum seems to have a bit of Iowa going on lately (at least according to that video I posted).

My left wrist really hurts for some reason and I can find 4 right-handed wrist braces in this house and not my one left-handed one.

And I was mistaken. I found the one brace I thought was left-handed and turns out it is right-handed as well. What the hell is with all the right-handed braces in this house?

How long has it been hurting? Does your palm or any of your fingers also hurt, get numb, or tingle?

My right wrist started to hurt a few months ago and then my left one followed suit shortly after. My palms would also cause pain when I applied pressure to them. It turned out that compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow is what was (and still is) causing it.

I would suggest seeing a doctor about it in case it is something that can be contained now instead of worsening over time. I hope it's just a passing thing, though.

That's because we are all sitting around and waiting for you to come up with game "Fru-balled." You got our hopes up -- then, nothing. Now get to it! :)

Oh, no, it's sprained. Not quite sure how I sprained it. Probably from over-use and then just one small movement put it over. I found a brace that is meant to be used for either wrist. A little odd looking but have it on now and it helps a bit. Not with typing though. In fact, I'm finding it just easier to type with one hand. :p

I remember you telling about your elbow issues and the possibility of surgery versus medication I think it was. How's that going for you? Any positive progress?

When I woke up this morning, my left testicle was far larger than the right one. It's always been a liitle bigger, but man, today it's huge. I hope it's just the humidity.

On an unrelated note, my pants feel tight.
