Trump is BOOED through Libertarian National Convention speech

Former President Donald battled through boos, heckling and outbursts Saturday night as he tried to ask Libertarian voters for their support.

That meant members of the crowd booed Trump, several turned their backs on Trump and they screamed over his pleas to have the Libertarians join the Republicans to beat President Joe Biden.

'Now I think you should nominate me or at least vote for me because the Libertarians want to vote for me and most of them will,' Trump yelled over a mix of boos and cheers.

As he continued to get interrupted Trump felt more comfortable taunting the crowd.

'Keep getting your three percent every four years,' the ex-president said.

'What is the purpose of having the Libertarian Party getting three percent?' Trump asked - pointing out that the party hasn't been successful historically in presidential races.

'That is why I'm committing to you tonight that I will put a Libertarian in my Cabinet and also Libertarians in senior posts. That's pretty big,' the Republican ex-president said. 'Or you could keep going the way you have for last long decades and get your three percent and meet again and get another three percent.

'You want to make yourself winners. It's time to be winners,' he said.

The MAGA factions of the crowd started a 'we want Trump!' chant.

'Joe Biden's radical left Democrat Party is a fascist movement who wants to throw you in jail if you post a meme they don't like,' the ex-president continued.

'Joe Biden is a threat to democracy,' Trump also said - a charge Biden consistently makes when referring to the Republican.

One of the Libertarians in the crowd had a sign that said "MAGA = Socialist." I see no reason for them to insult socialists. It's the capitalists who created MAGA. Trump is a capitalist who is backed by other capitalists.

The Socialist candidates are Claudia De la Cruz and Karina Garcia. Their platform is not at all like Trump: Claudia & Karina 2024
