No need to apologize for watching Glenn Beck.
Except you probably should apologize to the Founders for not having tarred and feathered Mr. Beck yet. [/rant]

Daughter's Rant, part 2:
Well, the teacher and I had round 2. She was still insisting I stand for the pledge. I told her "No." The whole class went, "OOOOOO." But I think I won that round. I told her it was my Constitutional right not to stand and she asked me to sit in the back if I wasn't going to stand. But I realized today, that I can't go back to that school.
There was too much disrespect going on in that school. Kids cursing at teachers, teachers cursing at students. kids showing up 30 minutes late for a 45 minute class, everyone on their blackberries, teachers included. Dress code not followed and no penalties, no consequences.
I am 18 I don't have to put up with this bull. Last time I was in school, in Arkansas mind you, we had metal detectors and magnetic wands and bag and locker searches. Here...(thick Brooklyn accent) Fuggetabutit. Nothing. It's disgusting and I am not having it.
I'll get my GED and be done with it. Go to college in the spring. At least college kids know how to act.
Done
I bet you are proud of your daughter... I know I would be if I had a daughter like that.
I am very proud of my girl. She is a strong independent young woman who is confident in who she is and what she wants. Still comes crying to mommy when things get too tough, but hey, she's my baby.
I don't have anything to rant about. :sad4:
I hate it when Christians try to justify their arguments with quotes from the bible. Any scripture from the bible isn't going to influence a nonbeliever, so why do they bother with scriptures???????
