The Real Question

People spend a lot of time arguing over whether God exists or not, with certain atheists trying to prove God does not and certain theists trying to prove that God does exist.

Not only is this logically impossible, but it misses the most important question about God. Seriously, why do you care whether your neighbor believes or doesn't believe? The thing that should most concern you is how your neighbor behaves toward others because that is what is going to directly affect you.

Hello. I have come to offer a different aspect on your comments. You say that is logically impossible to prove God's existence.

I say that it is very, very possible. In fact, I say you can prove for yourself God's existence immediately. The only catch is that you must learn the method to allow you to do so.

There exists a method that will allow you to prove once and for all that God exists, and that heaven exists. It is available to you. For all athiests, agnostics, and anyone else who has ever doubted the existence of God, or has not heard the sound or seen the light of God for themselves, I am offering you a method to achieve this experience.

This method that I speak of, after some diligent practice, will allow you to visit heaven if you wish, and still continue to live your daily life. After practicing this method you will have no doubts that God exists, because you will know God personally, from experience, and not from coincidence. You will literally hear God audibly, and see God visibly.

And seeing is believing.

This method does not go against any of the major religions, nor is it harmful to any creature. Also it is completely free of charge.

There are verses in the bible that speak of prophets going to different levels of heaven while they are alive. I ask you what is the difference between them and us?

I will tell you: Nothing. If there is a difference, it is just that they knew of the method that allowed them to have those experiences, where as we do know of this method.

I've come inform you that this method is available to you today.

Well. I am offering you the key to the heavens. Will you take it?

If you are truly interested then send me a private message, so that we can make arrangements for you to learn this method.

Peace.

Please refrain from posting New Age infomercials on my thread about the nature of God. Thanks.

What I mean is that the image of God that we create is a reflection of who we are inside.

People seek out the God that most aligns with their own personal beliefs, or they might try to change their beliefs to align with the God that they are raised with. God created man in his own image, or the other way around depending on whether you're a theist or atheist. Either way, the believer and the God should be quite similar.
I would argue that the image of God that we create and hold is a reflection of who we aspire to be. No doubt that it in many ways reflects our innate tendencies. But it's also the case that it influences our character and ideals. Both are true.

While I am shocked that you used a “split infinitive” in your OP, I will let it go, lol.

The thing that should most concern you is how your neighbor behaves toward others because that is what is going to affect you directly. Seriously, why do you care whether your neighbor believes or does not believe?
The simple fact, Lilithu, is that I do not give a rat’s hindquarters what my neighbors think or believe. Frankly, there are all lovely people, generous and kind, each in their own way.

What does one believe God stands for?
After all I have seen and all that I know, Lilithu, I cannot answer your question. I have no idea what “god” stands for. My point is that if I cannot put it into words then I am doubtful anyone else can either, in meaningful terms, at least.

And despite what some think it is not going away.
Indeed, you make it sound like a super-germ or a bad cold. To my thinking, it is almost an ominous proclamation. My view is exactly opposite to this. I foresee a time when people will outgrow their timid morality plays and simply learn to get on with life by accepting reality for what it is, not what they wish or imagine it should be.

Therefore, the question is not "Is there a God?" The real question is "What does God stand for in this world?"
I suspect you will end up with many suppositions but little grounded in reality. Perhaps we need to toss the whole ball of wax and think of something new. I know, I for one, have been active in this area for decades and I remain unwilling to meet religion “halfway”. Often times, an old building is not worth refurbishing and should simply be reduced to rubble so that a new structure can be erected in its place. My guess is that many will rejoice, “Why didn’t we do this sooner!”
