"Today, the right-wing media—Fox News (and the entire News Corp.), Newsmax, One America News Network, the Sinclair network of radio and TV stations and newspapers, iHeart Media (formerly Clear Channel), the Bott Radio Network (Christian radio), Elon Musk’s X, the huge podcasts like Joe Rogan’s, and much more—sets the news agenda in this country. And they fed their audiences a diet of slanted and distorted information that made it possible for Trump to win."

What do you think? Legitimate analysis? Or liberal hogwash?

None of this is new and is part of the reason Fox news was created.
Today the internet allows the spread of it everywhere. And too many people are easily manipulated.
This all goes back to the education system. And America is only getting worse in that regard.
There's a reason Republicans are the ones spreading the propaganda and are the ones defunding public education.
It's all for corporate elitists and their tax breaks and zero regulations.
Republican elitists have learned all they have to do to implement a Corporate agenda is to trick simple people into supporting simple solutions.
As long as you have votes, you can control your own tax and regulation policy via the government.

IMO its nothing more than looking for excuses instead of accepting the left dropped the ball.
IOW, its not us, its them.

Let's see a real example with proof. I have 1 question.
Proof the dems dropped the ball... Who won the pres, the senate and is on track to win the house in 2024?
"If Trump won in 2020, inflation and higher prices would never have happened."

Do you agree or disagree with that statement?
If the dems hadn't dropped the ball Trump wouldn't have won in 2024.

Do you agree or disagree with that statement?

"WASHINGTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - False or misleading claims by billionaire Elon Musk about the U.S. election have amassed 2 billion views on social media platform X this year, according to a report, opens new tab by non-profit group Center for Countering Digital Hate.
The platform is also playing a central role in enabling the spread of false information about the critical battleground states that will likely determine the outcome of the presidential race, election and misinformation experts said on Monday."

Pramila Jayapal Brutally Humiliates Trump in One Sentence

Those media outlets you listed probably did help Trump to a degree. But I think the mainstream media is much more influential and powerful and was slanted against Trump and overwhelmingly for Harris. The problem is/was that they, as well as Democrats in general, are out of touch with the majority of everyday people in this country. This reality came across in many local elections, besides just the presidential level.

“For every ten times that Kamala Harris is mentioned in the mainstream media, eight and an half of those mentions are glowingly positive. For every ten times that Donald Trump is mentioned, eight and three-quarters of those mentions are overwhelmingly negative. The media has become an arm of the Deep State, and if Kamala wins, they will act with one hive mind to enforce and reinforce the dystopian policies of the Harris presidency. It will literally be ‘1984’, authoritarianism versus freedom.”

2 billion views. That's a bunch.
However that means even using the whole US population, around 1.7 billion weren't even Americans.

You answered a question with a question? Weird.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

"If Trump won in 2020, inflation and higher prices would never have happened."
I can't predict/claim what would/wouldn't have happened four years ago on "ifs".

Maybe you can but I can't.

Good, you're in the minority. Most Republicans, and some Dems, believed Biden and Democrats were the reason inflation and prices increased.

They were misinformed.
I do think a lot of things impact the causes of increased prices and inflation. Certainly the Covid situation did, which I don’t necessarily think Trump handled correctly before he left office. Probably the economic situation here wouldn’t have gotten quite as bad had we not been sending trillions of dollars to sustain the war in Ukraine. I don’t think that war would have occurred in the first place had Trump been in office at the time.
